    Solid capture device

This is a solid capture device that can do up to 1080p at 60 fps, supports any console via HDMI as well as older devices that use component inputs. It has the features you'd want and expect from a capture device. The only negative issue I have with it is my PC only has a USB 3.0 inputs, all of them are in use, and streaming video at 1080p 30/60 fps frame rate has a tendency to overload the system and cause the video to hang. This would not be an issue on a newer PC that has a USB 3.1 inputs which are capable of faster transfer rates.

This is probably the best capture card I've ever used, previously was using the Elgato HD60 and this card is way better, extremely low latency, make great quality videos, perfect for live streaming.

The Ripsaw has been awesome. It's easy to use with OBS. Pros: Easy to use Streams perfectly at 30fps No Delays Easy interface to navigate Cons: Screen of gaming computer lightly greys out, but on stream looks perfectly normal Won't stream with 60fps for more than 10-15 mins

The ripsaw is as easy as it gets, and im not even running a screen off it, i have it as an extra monitor in my 3 screen set up just having it mirror my main monitor and boom import to Xsplit and done! sound was a bit tricky to get down with a two computer set up but it worked out in the end. only thing i would like to see different about this would be doing Display port or DVI connection for us pc gammers

Love the ability to capture everything with hdmi and composite cables. It also is great to have a dedicated ps3 cable. The only downside is that it has a tendency to freeze capturing if you have an older usb 3.0 port.

Got It on Sale for a Steal of a Price

Got it on sale for $107, and for what I got this capture card was a steal. It comes with nearly anything you could need for recording any system. Wanna record PS3? Special PS3 Component cable is included. Wanna record old systems? As long as that system uses a component cable, you can do that. I tried with my Gamecube but only have an A/V cord for the system, so it will not pass through the Ripsaw's Component cable. But you can buy an A/V to HDMI upscale converter for $20ish on Amazon so it's not a big deal. Recording is simple, you can either download the Razer recording software, or it's compatible with OBS, which is my personal choice. Video recording quality is outstanding, no issues that I could spot. At the time of writing this review, I don't believe the Ripsaw is still on sale, but it's the same price as an Elgato HD60S, and offers more for the price. On sale or not, this capture card is well worth the money.

Very easy to set up; unlike the Elgato Pro the ports are both in the back next to the power port making it easy to set aside and keep wires organized. Very little frame drop when recording and streaming. All and all a great product for everyone.

I did a lot of research on the elgato and the Ripsaw before making this purchase. I opted to go with Razer based on ease of use and to keep it in line with all of my other razer products. So far it's very good to use and there is near zero latency. I can actually play the game through the capture on my computer. Using it with xplit is flawless, but I did run into some issues when setting up with obs (mainly to get sound coming through). I was able to get over any roadblock with a simple YouTube search. The ripsaw looks pretty sexy next to my other products and overall set up.

OK, I know some have said this is better than the Elgato HD 60 Pro, well I own the Elgato HD 60 Pro but I thought that this would be better, apparently not. Horrible confusing software and if your mouse pointer is hanging over the video capture screen with the Razor Ripsaw it ends up capturing it as well. I mean come on Razor, you make the best Webcam and other products out their why not make a BEAST capture card that doesn't capture the mouse pointer when capturing from a console device. I think I will stick my Elgato HD 60 Pro.

All Sorts of Issues - Get Elgato HD60

I had this for about a day after already having experienced the Elgato HD60. I returned it the same day and bought another HD60. I never managed to get this fully working. I was always missing something in my stream, Either game audio, mic audio, or video. Could not get everything to work all at the same time. Unfortunately read reviews after I bought this. All sorts of people having issues with these things. My HD60 just plugs in and works.

Once I figured out how to plug it into my system, I think it will work well. I haven't had a chance to really mess around with it yet but I'm hoping to soon. Make sure to note that you need either Xsplit or OBS to use with it. Decent price, Have heard good things about it from streamers on Twitch which is something I need to start getting into that

If you aren't getting an internal capture card, I can't recommend this Ripsaw enough. It's a great first entry for Razer, as always the product is solid, comes with all needed cables plus more. The software is easy to use and stream quality is top notch.

This capture card does everything I ask of it. I have had no issues using it with OBS Studio. Not a big fan of the Gamecaster software from Razer, but I never really planned on using it when I bought the ripsaw.

I'm a fairly new video game streamer and this was my first capture card. all reviews and stuff looked great, bought it, and worked with minor bugs for a bit in the beginning. then the freezes and the blank black screen just became more and more frequent. now its in no way reliable (like it could be fine at the start of the stream and just completely stop working 10 minutes later) with nothing changing, all with the green light glowing in my face. Hopefully there is a way I can get my money back cause this was an expensive waste, I bought a no name Chinese capture card off amazon half the price works infinitely better and no drivers to get. I was super excited about this, but it was huge let down.

This device is great for streaming. Does exactly what it says it'll do on the box. I never used the supplied software so, I cannot talk about that but, I can tell you it works great with OBS.
