Customers commend the Viper Ultimate Ultralight Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse's lightweight design, excellent battery life, and included charging dock. Many appreciate the wireless functionality and comfortable ergonomics, along with the high-quality build and responsive performance. However, some users experienced issues with the side buttons and scroll wheel, while others found the size or software less than ideal. Its very lightweight, really fast, and comfortable for medium sized hand shapes. The charging dock is a great addition and worth the extra buck to the non docked version. The build is also very solid with little to no creaking with hard presses. The only complaint I can give are the side buttons as it’s very easy to accidentally hit with your ring or pinky, however, those buttons can be disabled via Razer Synapse. Overall, this is a very reliable mouse and for a mouse that’s 2 years old. I highly recommend picking up this mouse for its features and quality.

Great Mouse, Even Better Dock

This mouse is incredible, and especially because of its charging dock. I was worried about switching to a wireless mouse, but with the charging dock all my concerns were put at ease. It's incredibly simple, easy, and convenient to charge this mouse, and it holds its charge for days, if not weeks, depending on usage. I also love how lightweight it is, and never want to go back to using my old, heavier Corsair M65.
The customization options, from the lights to the four extra hardware buttons, are great, and allow you to set up the mouse depending on your use-case (I have the buttons set to back/forward, and the other set to adjusting the DPI). Heavily recommend this mouse, especially at the $60 price point I was able to purchase it for.

The mouse is amazing! Its super light and there really isnt noticeable input delay using the dongle. Though I do have to say the scroll wheel could be better. I say this because it feels really cheap. Another thing is that there are 4 side buttons (2 on each side) which i sometimes hit accidentally but its not a big issue. Regardless, The viper ultimate is incredibly, huge upgrade from my viper mini. My aim definitely increased on fps games and it’s extremely worth it for its price at the moment

Very nice and light wireless mouse. This is gaming ready. Loving the subtle design and LED. Doesn't look like it belongs to a kid. Nice clicks right and left. Good skates on the bottom. The charging stand is nice but not necessary. Maybe would have preferred a cost saving option without the charging stand. Can play wired or wireless. Battery literally lasts forever. As good as you can expect anyway. The cable that comes with the mouse is pretty decent. Not as good as coolermaster's MM710. (I love that mouse)
A few cons for me. I don't like the navigation buttons on both sides, or the placement in general. Easy to make accidental clicks. Really has been a deal breaker on making this my main gaming mouse. Front micro USB could have been type C for the price and another negative...the price, but you know. Also, the center wheel leaves a lot to be desired. The spikey knobbies are not comfortable, and it is mushy feeling to roll, not clicky. It does have a slight click, but not much. And the roll amount seems too low.
I would like the mouse shorter with more of a hump on the back, I would say this shape is more for finger tip grip. It is a small mouse light mouse.

The mouse is good quality, on the smaller size, and some may find the buttons a bit small. I really like the charging dock and is basically the sole reason I got this mouse. The weight is good and the build quality is good. It has Razer Chroma for the lights so it is easy to adjust the lights to whatever color you want.

TBH this is my first ever gaming mouse. I've always been a fan of the Logitech MX mice and at first, this mouse was a little to light for me. After a couple of hours of use MAN OH MAN! This mouse is fast fast fast and super comfortable. I love how I can just stick it on the dock after using and just have it charge. Battery life is great and the dock's convenience and eye candy is just a bonus.
Many people prefer this over the Gpro and with the dock, its definitely a better value.
PS: I am and forever will be a steelseries Fanboy but this is my mouse of choice!

Much lighter than I'm used to, but very well built. Battery life lasts multiple days compared to the months you'll get out of a AA powered mouse, but the benefit of being able to recharge is super nice.

Got the Mercury version and the dock for 89.99 when it went on sale. I have to tell you what a steal that is. The mouse comes with a 2-year warranty from Razer. I’m guessing that also includes the dock. Setting up the mouse was simple, connect the USB to micro USB cable from your pc to the mouse. After registering the drivers, a prompt for Razer Synapse 3 appeared and all you have to do is download and install it. Register or login with your Razer account and start making mouse profiles. One thing I really don’t like about the software is how it NEEDS to run in the background for your mouse profiles to save. If you accidentally close out of it, your mouse will act like a brand new one. Thus, make sure you have Synapse run during the startup of your pc and leave it until you turn it off. After I had set up the mouse wired, I took out the wireless dongle using my thumb from under the mouse. I unplugged the micro-USB cable from the mouse and plugged it into the charging dock, afterwards I plugged in the wireless dongle and placed the mouse on top of the dock to sync. It was now ready for wireless play. Works really well and I don’t regret spending the extra ~11 dollars for the Mercury version over the default black one. I chose the Mercury version because I wanted to make sure I had a 100% chance in getting the V2 switches. You can look up comparisons between V1 and V2, V1 switches are essentially more mushy and they can cause creaking noises when clicking the mouse buttons. To conclude, this mouse offers good value with how much you’re paying for.
-When trying to plug in the dock using the micro-USB cable, I had difficulties with plugging it all the way in. At first I thought the dock was unresponsive until I jammed the cable into the dock. So make sure you have the cable all the way in before you worry!
-White gets visibly dirtier than the black version of the mouse which means more cleaning.
-Mouse is very light.
-Dock sits on the desk after it’s plugged in.
(Check out the review my brother and I wrote for the black version.)

I bought this mouse during the beginning of the pandemic so I didn't get to see if it was the right size for my hand. Unfortunately It is smaller than I had anticipated. I like that it is so light and moves flawlessly for being wireless. You can program the RGB lights to your liking. You must charge this mouse while you sleep because it does take it time to fully recharge. You'll know when the mouse needs charging because it will start glowing red. the cradle also lets you know when its fully charged by glowing green.

The world has it's share of Mouse products. I mean there are some truly great designs and some great on pape for a short time only and then there are the diamonds. The Viper Ultimate is the Diamond of Mice. It truly has every single thing you need in mouse designs. This thing looks like the Batmobile and moves just a fast it too. The weight or feel of this mouse is easily one of the best things about it. Coming in at a mere 74grams, it is the lightest mouse I have ever used. The response times of the buttons and the wireless connection speed is something to behold. Even the dock is so amazingly pretty and useful. But don't worry the dock won't be needed as much because this thing has a 70-hour battery life built inside it. And to top things off even more, you also get that software to customize your LED effects. The only thing negative about this mouse that I can come up with is the expensive price. At $149 plus the tax, you are just under $200 and that's a little much for a mouse especially one that is as light as this one is. It's like holding a paper model of a mouse. So you can't tell me that this mouse really costs a lot to make. So why the high price tag Razer? As guess, we can all throw it up to "pay to play" but sometimes this isn't good enough for people on a budget. In the end, you have to make the choice yourself. I still would recommend it and wouldn't use any other mouse on the market over this.

I love this mouse. I mean, it’s wireless, it has a charging dock, and you can still play in wireless mode if you want. The cord that comes with it fits into everything perfectly in a satisfying way, and the 4 side buttons are better than the two I had on my old mouse. Not to mention, the price dropped by $100!

Am absolutely loving it! It's lightweight, has multiple programmable buttons that are ambidextrous and adjustable DPI speeds per razer's software. Very colorful and has open customization for the RGB. Includes the dock station which makes charging fast and easy and rthe size isn't too small or too large.

This mouse is incredibly light but more importantly, it is built very sturdily! It feels like it would survive a nuclear blast (as compared to every other Razer mouse I own). If you have medium to large hands, this mouse is great to claw grip, the buttons are perfectly positioned, and battery life is insane for the weight. If you use low DPI, the new sensor on this mouse is incredible for tracking. I am honestly in awe, I did not expect it to be as nice as it is. As far as ergonomics go, I have tremors and dystrophy in my limbs and the Viper, even with its non ergonomic and ambidextrous design, still feels better when gaming than most ergonomic mice. I really can’t recommend this mouse enough.
I bought this mouse during a sale for $120 and I would definitely say that it is an amazing price for the mouse and the docking station that comes with it.
I also bought the Razer Basilisk Ultimate to compare and I can say that this is a more natural and simplistic feel to it compared to that one. When playing Modern Warfare online, you won’t have any misclicks or double clicks with this one, unlike the Basilisk. It feels like have the weight of my Naga Chroma (to compare) and fits inside a mouse pouch easily. If you are looking for a mouse that is similar to the Logitech G Pro, this is one to get! I love it much more than my Logitech mice (hate their software but I love that they last forever).

the viper ultimate is a little spendy but it’s absolutely worth the price tag. I got the quartz version and the color is very beautiful. The dock had RGB aswell which is really nice. The mouse itself is super light and I’ve had no problems at all with accidentally clicking the wrong side buttons. I have very small hands and I was worried this mouse would be too big but it’s honestly not bad at all, in-fact it’s a little smaller than my last mouse. I definitely recommend this!

Comfortable, very light weight, grippy sides with texture, fast dpi, intuitive software and customizable buttons with rgb, scrolling is decent not smooth but has a rubbery feel, charging doc can show battery range by rgb color which is very cool. All around a very good gaming mouse. The battery isn’t terrible but it could be improved. I primarily use this for gaming and have the Logitech MX Master 3S for work/daily use (shown side by side).
