I bought this tv for what have seen no name smaller 720p tvs on sale for. I was actually surprised at such a low price. This tv was for our bedroom so I wasnt looking for anything to pricey. The picture is great and very clear. I was actaully impressed. As good as the picture the sound quality is porr the is no depth to the sound and it is quite low. You really have to turn it up to hear it at all. Kinda like a car stereo with the bass turned down all the way and the trble on max. As i said though it is just for the bedroom and the price was rite so overall i am satisfied with my purchase. One more thing it doesnt seem to switch channels that quick and i cant seem to get my cable remote to control the tv so i have to use two remotes all the time which is annoying.

I've had the TV for over 2 weeks now and have put it thru it's paces, no problems. I got this primarily for my PS3, since my wife hogs the 42". For $160 I got an LED 1080p. The size (24") was perfect for the shelf it's on. The picture is beautiful for the games and Blu-Ray. I did not have to adjust any of the colors. The sound was a little tinny so I turned up the bass and lowered the treble, sounds better now but not for music, I'm not using it for that anyway. Set-up was easy and the 3 HDMI on the side is nice. I did not like the fact that the headphone jack was in the back, should have been on the side but the TV is light enough to turn it around and plug it in. Overall I am very happy. Oh yeah, thanks for the free shipping.

    Easy Set Up

This TV was easy to set up, great picture quality. Perfect for it's intended use (bedroom TV). Love the TV, however as soon as we turned it on we saw a dot on the screen. We didn't really realize it was permanent until finished setting up. Then we realized it had a blown pixel. It had been delivered by UPS. Hated to send it back. It had a great picture and a great price. However, we couldn't re-order it for the same price and without them being refurbs. Tried to purchase a Toshiba from the store and the picture color was horrible. So, we ended up with a little bit larger Samsung and it is excellent. I thought the blown picture was a fluke. However, in reading the reviews apparently at least one other person had experienced the same issue.

    green dot, blown pixel

I ordered it on Monday and it arrived via UPS on Wednesday. UPS is pretty rough on packages so it may have gotten bounced around by them and not a factory defect. I set it up on the stand, plugged it in and ran the initial setup. I noticed a green dot about 6" up and 6" from the right of the screen. I thought it might just be a weird dot only on the setup screen but when I started programming the channels it was on every one no matter what color was on the screen. I just plugged it into the antenna and it has a great picture quality on stations that broadcast in 1080i, a far picture on ones in 720p and a very blurry picture on the stations in 480p not as good as my 42" Panasonic 1080P plasma on only antenna. I was told to return it to the store and have them order another but I'm concerned that the next one will be damaged in shipping. They don't sell them here so I wouldn't be able to pick one up at the store. I would still recommend it if you are using as a PC monitor or only watch 720p or higher content.

    Buyers Remorse

Purchased the 24" TV for the bedroom. Easy setup. Ready to use in less than 10 minutes. However, as soon I turned on the TV the sound was muffled. I adjusted all sorts of audio settings and turned up the volume. I even checked to make sure I hadn't left any plastic around the speakers but the sound was still terrible. The "quality" of the sound was akin to the sound that comes out of my clock radio on my nightstand. Less than 24 hours later I had to return the TV to Best Buy. I couldn't stand the muffled, far away sound anymore. When I stated my reason for the return, the employee said that for televisions that size one needs to buy separate speakers in order to enjoy the TV viewing experience. He tried to convince me to buy speakers instead of returning the TV. I said NO. I find it ridiculous that a 24" TV would need separate speakers. I later purchased a 24" Toshiba and the sound is perfect!! No additional speakers needed. No RCA products for me ever again.
