Easy to set up , easy to follow directions. Was set up on both devices in under ten minutes

I was nervous when I bought this remote as I've never had to program a remote before in my life. My fears were eased when I opened the directions and they were easy and clear. I was able to set up my remote in minutes!

We went camping and discovered we left our tv remote at home. So, off to Best Buy we went to purchase an extra remote. We will leave this one in the camper so we didn't want to spend much money. It was on sale for $5.99 and perfect for our purpose. Set up seemed a little complicated but once that was done, it worked like a charm.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do! Have an old tv and it programmed to it just fine.

Worked good for me. Lost my tv remote. Was able to program to work my tv and blue ray player without any issues. Good replacement.

I wanted a universal remote to replace the failing remote for my Sony DVD/CD surround sound system and combine it with my Samsung TV and cable box. The auto detect easily found my cable box and seems to work well with several of the functions. I had to manually enter the input for my other devices though, trying all of the provided codes until I found one that worked. I would have still been satisfied with the device, but it doesn't work with volume control on the surround system at all. While it will respond to "play" , "stop" and some of the basic functions of the system, most won't work at all. I really needed "volume" and "pause" features. If you are playing a DVD and try to adjust the volume, it will use the TV volume control instead of the surround sound. I thought perhaps I just wasn't programming it correctly since it mentioned a volume control override feature, so I wrote to the company to see if they could offer some advice to program the device to do what I needed. Their reply was that if the codes didn't work, they couldn't help, so just take it back for a refund. I appreciate the reply, but it was disappointing.....

I bought this because my new TV remote is so poor! Setup was a bit tricky, its best to just punch in the numerical codes from the list rather than trying to "marry" with the TV - I found this out after checking out on the web. I watch TV in the dark when my spouse is asleep, so the one-button and the backlight was important to me. I wanted to have the sleep button and the input button easy to access ... not a bunch of menus to maneuver (in the dark). This remote has those two right on the device with one press - the only remote that I could find which does. It states that this remote has a backlight, but if it does, its really weak, I think one button has some light, but its not anything I use. Signal strength seems to be fine.

Using it in spare room to eliminate extra remotes. Has many functions and does the job.

For around$10 this remote works on our Insignia DVD player and I was able to program it myself. (No teenager needed!) Literally took about three minutes. Have not tried to program it for any other electronics.

Apparently AT&T Uverse Has comparability issues with most Westinghouse tv's. I happen to have said tv so my remote wouldn't change the input selection and the TV itself doesn't have actual buttons to do so. My only option was to buy a universal remote so I wasn't looking for anything fancy. This remote was way cheaper than I expected and does everything I need it to do without a problem.

This was just what I needed. The dog had chewed up the original remote and I tried this one and found the directions easy to follow and was able to get the channels programmed within a few minutes. Nice!

This RCA universal remote was extremely user friendly and easy to program! Awesome.

I found it so quick and easy to run thru the setup. Very pleased with the remote.

It wasn't such a hassle to program it to my TV, I would recommend this product.

Not as sturdy as the original, but seems to have most of the bells and whistles.

CANT PROGRAM VOLUME TO RECEIVER. YOU CANT TEACH IT TO LEARN VOLUME FOR RECEIVER WHILE CONTROLING OTHER DEVICES. SO WHEN YOU CHANGE CABLE CHANELS IT DEFAULTS TO TV VOLUME EVEN THOUGH RECEIVER VOULUME WAS PROGRAMED TO ALL (SUPPOSEDLY) CALLED TECH THEY SAID IT COULD NOT BE DONE. BOUGHT SONY REMOTE ON SALE 8 DEVICE FOR $19 IT CONTROLLS ALL DEVICES AND ALOWED ME TO PROGRAM ANY KEY MANUALLY AND BY BRAND

Bought a used tv with missing remote. bought this remote to use and it works well. Only no back functionality and built in light does not light completely. All and all great remote at a fair price.

No complaint. Pretty easy to use. I've not yet exercised all the functions.

The RCA - 4-Device Universal Remote works great. I have had many other universal remotes before but this one is by far the easiest to program and use. I would definitely recommend this one!
