This remote was easy to set up and worked well, but unfortunately I was not able to use closed captions. This feature wasn't readily apparent- I ultimately exchanged this remote for one that clearly had a designated remote button at the same price.

Its small size makes it very easy to handle and has all the buttons necessary for easy function. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a simple remote control

This remote was a bargain and works great for basic needs. No problems with programming for TV, VCR, DVD. However, we needed to add a sound bar which it could not recognize. After researching why we couldn't communicate with the sound bar, we concluded that the remote unit did not have the technology capable of doing so,

It is ok and it does most of the buttons I used on my old AT&T U-Verse remote. I used it for the TV that I don't use much.

Programming for the t.v. device took sometime but eventually it worked and no problems since then.

Good quality simple remote well made does what you need it to do at a great price

For the price, this is good remote. Instructions are clear & works as expected.

We cut the cord with cable TV a couple months ago, so out went the cable company's remote. Now we use an outdoor antenna plus a Roku 3 for Netflix and other services. This brought us back to the TV's original remote which was wearing out. We examined a number of alternatives and finally settled on this remote. It took a few tries to get it programmed for our TV but, that done, it works fine. I didn't want a long skinny remote with a couple dozen unneeded buttons to wade through. This remote is, by comparison, short and wide. It lays well in the hand and feels solid. It has the buttons we need for the TV and its built-in DVD player. (The Roku 3 uses an RF remote that's not compatible with this or any other infrared-based remote.) About the only thing missing is our old "info" button which brings up program data for the current TV show. I haven't found any button on the remote that can do this. Oh, well. We'll do without. Other than that, we're quite satisfied.

This is a basic simple and easy to use remote. I like the lightness and feel of the remote. I can use almost the entire pad with my thumb. I had no problem syncing my old Vizio with the codes provided. The price is right. I recommend if your looking for an inexpensive remote. It does its job.

This remote control was purchased for a Emerson TV whose remote was lost. RCA remote worked perfect.

This a good value universal remote. Only problem is that the intstructions for programming the remote are VERY poorly written. I’m pretty tech savvy but I had to go to YouTube to figure out the programming. It’s actually very easy to do but go to YouTube, don’t use the instructions.

It's cheap and it gets the job done. You can program more then one thing to it.

It is Good looking, works well, control multiple devices. However, it is a little bulky, short but thick.

The remote does what it says. Universal control of devices. However the control of DVD's is not great. But in all honesty, for less than 10 bucks...who cares?!
