Easy to install. Buttons work great and not hard at all changing channel with no problem. Using settings not able however I was warn by sales person that it would not be friendly in that regard, so no disappointment there. I may get another one.

Purchased this controller to replace a missing remote control for my grandmother's TV. Was attracted to this model simply because the buttons are big enough to see and not get easily confused for someone her age, well, any age really. The remote has a nice glossy look. Downside is that it shows all the smudges and oily fingerprints that have touched it. So, if smudges bother you, this model might not be the best for you because you will find yourself cleaning it all the time. The controller needs 2 AAA batteries, which are not included in the package. The instructions are easy enough to understand so you can program the device you want. You have 2 options to program the device you want, either manually enter each code individually before you find the right one, or an automatic option that will have the controller try out codes on it's own. There are dozens of codes for several brands that include TV, DVD, etc, if you choose to program the controller manually. once you find the right code, make sure to mark it on the code list because some brands have 10 or more codes to enter before you find the right one. Overall, I would recommend the controller as a suitable replacement controller as it can be programmed with up to 4 different devices. Has a great look to it and it's really simple to program and use.

This is a remote control that was easy to set and very easy to use. The big bottoms and backlight is really useful for dark rooms. Also the price was a good deal. I only use it for TV.

I thought this was a great buy for $20. Easy to program. Large buttons. lighted keys. The only issue is that you may want to make sure don't necessarily stop with the first code that works. It may work for the component you are trying to match and have it interfere with another component. For example, the sound bar volume also sends a "program info" request to our apple tv so every time we used to turn the volume up or down, we'd get that annoying drop down on the screen. With a different code - no more problem.

I have and old Sony crt tv in my home gym and its remote was shot so I decided to buy a universal remote but did not want to spend a lot. This does the job and was priced fairly for the features. Pros: Easy to program. Easy to read button lights. Good hand fit. Good value Cons: There are several program choices that do most but not all original functions.

Good value - well priced and it works without a lot of hassle. The manual is actually quite easy to follow and very comprehensive in terms of the list of makes and models.

Good remote. It serves its purpose well. Big buttons make it easy to use. The added backlight makes the buttons clearer.

I love the back-light, love the size of the buttons and love the simplicity. It does all that I need except turn the receiver on and off (I knew from the description that it wouldn't, so there was no disappointment). I needed it to replace the remote for our 10 year old RCA DLP TV. It does all we need and I actually like it better than the original. It also controls our Sony DVD player and was easy to program. Sure, I would love to have one of the expensive LCD display remotes that does everything, but for only $12, how can you go wrong?

Fairly easy to program and lighted operation in dim lighting is very helpful as is the large button design

Like the large buttons and that it glows. It doesn't have a decimal, just numbers.

I purchased this for my aunts who are 70 plus. It was extremely easy to set up. The buttons are large and ight up. Perfect gift.

This universal remote is nothing flashy or particularly special and it has a number of buttons for devices that people rarely use today (VCR, etc.), but if you need a cheap universal remote that will control you systems this remote is more than up to the task. Programming was easy and I have had no problems using it or getting it to do what I want it to do.

New TV was missing remote, and we bought this one to replace it. It was extremely easy to configure and setup, works great and haven' t been disappointed.

very easy to 'program' to my Insignia TV and the TWC cable box Havent tried the DVD/VCR yet tho but so far it has more than paid for itself

I got this remote because I lost my other one for a Sharp TV that I have it works great and the back light is great on it no complaints whatsoever very affordable and reasonably priced I got it for under $20 Definitely worth the price And this will definitely suit most needs unless you need more than four devices It was very easy to pair

Very easy to program for my devices (actually simpler than some much more expensive ones I have purchased in the past.) The only complaint so far is that the backlight only stays on a few milliseconds and I must push button to restore backlight. Otherwise, its a nice, simple remote and a good value.

This remote was easy to program and I like the backlit keys. Also easy to read because keys are larger than most remotes.
