Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live out in the Northern Colorado prairie, about 86 miles from the major transmitting towers which are located mostly on Lookout Mountain in Colorado. I wanted to get CBS, ABC, NBC and Fox (4.1, 7.1, 9.1, 31.1) networks and with A LOT of messing around, I did get them all in at between 42 and 60 signal strength per the TiVO Roamio. 40 strength is the absolute minimum to view without a lot of blocking artifacts. Actually received 50 channels. The problem is that I have to aim it EXACTLY at Lookout Mountain or the signals won't come in, which means it hangs midway up a southwest bedroom window at a specific angle (seems to be very directional at my distance). I am in the process of cutting the cord from Directv. Although this JUST does what I want, I really need an outdoor antenna. I have to say, this little guy does better than advertised considering how far away the channels are. I only got about half that many channels with a set of 20 year old rabbit ears.
I would recommend this to a friend Indoor antennas stink.
