I purchased this phone and have been disappointed from the beginning and should have returned it. The handset has a short in it, when I called RCA they said I have to purchase a replacement. I find using the 2 lines cumbersome. I purchased this to use my headset, which became essential since the handset doesn't work, and even that connection gives me trouble. I am in the process of replacing this phone.

I had to purchase an office phone and went with this based on price and headset capability. Bad mistake. You do get what you pay for. First - the phone is cheap plastic and comes with the cradle for the phone to sit in. It was always uneven - rocked back & forth. The microphone on the phone to speak into is about the size of pinhead - clients couldn't hear me. The phone wouldnt hang up when call was finished. Just a horrible poorly designed phone. Not to mentioned, I had to have it shipped to, then bring back to best buy - go thru their return policy (which isnt the greatest). However, I did purchase an AT&T 2 line office phone with cordless handset from office depot and couldnt be happier. Hope this helps :-)

I use this phone business. It looks great and my headset works well with it.
