I use the RODE for in-home studio work (I'm a free lance voiceover announcer) and it replaced an old condenser mic that finally gave out. When shopping, I was impressed with RODE's quality and the price wasn't bad. RODE has also become the go-to mic for YouTube-style video work so I knew it must be reliable. I was happily surprised that the quality exceeded my expectations and I'll be purchasing more RODE products in the future.

Best mic I’ve had so far. Big upgrade from the NTAs. Very nice mic, clear, low noise.
