    An excellent device for capturing superior audio on your videos. I bought it to use on my canon RP, it gave me much better sound with less background noise than the built in microphone. I’ve also used it with my iPhone with an adapter and it works beautifully. I used a stroboframe with a phone mount and cold shoe to set up on a mini tripod and have an excellent vlog set up.

    This is a great bang for your buck microphone. It has fairly crisp sound quality and works well for interviews and general ambient sound. If you’re on a budget this will work, but you will need to be able to control the sound level in-camera. The downside to this mic is that it can sound a bit harsh in the mid range and low end, as well as frequent clipping on a windy day.

    Wanted to fet a shotgun mic for the camera since I dont have a lav or the miney to get one, this was an absolutely amazing value for the cost. Sounds amamzing and have no issues with buzzing or clarity.

    If you are a beginner in videography, then this is the mic you want. $100 is cheap for a mic and especially for this quality. I recommend but if you have the money to upgrade to a newer and better model than do that.

    The audio recording has been very unique, in a good way. When listening to the audio on programs, the sound is very clear. It picks up what you want it to pick up, rather than all your surroundings.
