Excellent audio from a distance
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the perfect set up for my Sony ZV-1. I’ve tested it from 30 feet away and the sound comes clear. I am sure with a visual line of sight I probably could’ve went further. My only gripe is the wind muff Cannot properly attach to the mic so I’m using a rubber band to hold it in place. Nonetheless I stand by my purchase

Amazing sound - Amazing freedom
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Filming videos with great audio doesn't get easier. The sound quality is excellent for my needs. Obstructions (walls , trees, etc) may cause dropout but that's not much of an issue for me. Distance hasn't been an issue either. The transmitter is a bit bluky when compared to a lav but it is easy enough to simply add a decent lav if you're not looking to have the larger rode mic visible. Love this system - solved serious issues for me.

Love it, but you need extra parts!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great microphone! I use it for teaching yoga outside and virtually. You do need extra pieces though to make it work the best. You will need the SC7 cord for use with a laptop, camera, or smartphone. You will need a lavalier microphone and headset in order to use it best for fitness. It can be clipped to your shirt, but I have found it doesn't pick up sound as well without the headset.

Great mic, wish it was just a little cheaper
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since our church cannot have gatherings of more than 10 people at a time due to safe distancing guidelines we have been pushed to stream all of our services online. This mic is great for use with my iphone 11 pro max to stream via facebook live. The sound is clear and crisp and there is even a "dead cat" muffler for outside when it is windy. Battery is great as it lasts for at least 3-4 hours which is impressive in something that small. It has been a real life saver. I know that making this technology smaller is expensive but I wish the price would come down a smidge to make it more accessible for people with smaller budgets.

Strong Connection - Quality Sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First.., these are pricy.., second..., these are worth it. In the world of wireless audio, needing quality dialog but also needing speed and efficiency.., really, at the moment, this wireless go system gets all that right! I am an indie film maker with aspirations of greatness.., lol, really I love shooting video but my challenge has been taking it to the next level. Anybody knows if you’re wantIn to step into the professional video production world, on any level, you need quality sound. In today’s fast paste environment, especially for indie film makers, often we find ourselves short of hands and needing efficient, professional solutions to audio work. Rather it be talking heads or on set dialog while fighting ambient audio artifacts. This wireless go system is absolutely the answer to all that. They say you get what you pay for. Truly, but to take it to another level with this system. I work for a YouTube channel, and when I start they had purchased this 700 dollar wireless lapel system that just end up not working well at all. It would loose connection during important moments. When it lost connection we couldn’t tell because it would look like it was still recording. Frustrated with this and the fact that the YouTube channel didn’t want to make another purchase.., I took it on myself to do some research and then purchased two sets of these. Oh man.., night and day. Trust me.., it’s worth the investment.

Perfect lav mic
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to admit, I did a lot of research on lab mic and this is by far one of the easiest to use, out of box and ready to go. The sounds is amazing for what I need, no complaints there at all, the price is also amazing as well. I would not recommend to use for a walking interview unless, but definitely if your subject is sitting or standing still, it's a Go.

Good solution for remote audio recoding.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The system works well in the setting of a small auditorium. The receiver is connected to a camera that is placed approximately 60 unobstructive feet from the transmitter located at the speaker podium. Setup and operation is easy. Came with two wires for charging the units but did not include the power units that plug into the electrical outlet. Very satisfied.

Awesome Lavs
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for a wedding I was attending as a guest but also wanted to have the option if it came to use them. This are an awesome low profile solution for lavs, there are a few good videos on YouTube about how to use them in other ways such as a wireless boom mic, really versatile and am looking forward to using them in so many scenarios/ways. Love rode mics!

A great wireless microphone system
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Rode Wireless Go microphone system is a great solution for vlogging and upping your game on YouTube and other platforms. One of the keys to great videos is great audio and this helps you get closer to that. The built in microphone on the transmitter is decent, although if you want the best sound and hide the fact that you are using a microphone, you will want to purchase a lapel mic with this (not included). The LED display on the receiver is great to see where your levels are and keep track of signal strength. There is a reason why this is often the default choice for mid-level audio capture. Some of the cons would be that you can only pair one mic to one receiver. There are many other options out there that allow more than one mic to be connected to a single receiver. It is pricey for what it is. If you use the transmitter instead of a lapel mic it is pretty bulky and noticeable. So if you are using to capture audio for video, just know that your views will be able to see the mic. Sound quality is very good, but better with a separate mic. This is a great mic to use as a primary or secondary to up your videography and podcast game.

Good wireless set up
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We picked these up for video work we were doing. I had tried some different sets and had a lot of issues. These pair immediately, sound great and are nice and small. I thought I would need to pick up a lavalier For them but the unit is really small and easy to hide with excellent range. I can hide this out of sight and get great pickup. No issues

Great Audio Solution
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to use while recording run and gun style with my GoPro Hero 8 .... it works amazingly well. No thinking, just power it on. Great battery life .... i've used it on and off all day on one charge. Clipping on the mic is a bit cumbersome, depending on what you are wearing... so I take the time and use it with a standard lav. Nice job Rode.

outstanding for obtaing audio from PA systems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This GO transmitter/receiver is a simple solution to record excellent audio for iPhones or cameras. The Rode GO lets me use our existing church audio (and my iPhone) to livestream sunday services to FaceBook. I purchased the Rode sc-7 patch cable for interfacing the GO receiver to my iPhone. I do not use an external lavalier mic as my audio source. Instead, I use our church's PA system as the audio source. To do this, I wired the GO transmitter's mic input jack to the PA mixer's "headphone" output jack. I bought a 3.5 mm audio cable and a male jack adaptor from Best Buy to make this connection. This gave me wireless transmission of the entire church building's audio feed (all 8 microphones in the mix) to my iPhone's camera. Our church mixer has a volume control on the headphone jack, which allows for adjustment of the input signal strength to the GO. If yours PA does not have a volume control, you can purchase a 50db pad at Best Buy to reduce line level signals to mic levels. The Rode GO transmits clear and clean audio from our PA system to my iPhone camera. As they say, "If the audio isn't clear, nobody will watch your video."

Perfect solution for wireless recording to a phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Rode Wireless Go Microphone System to improve sound for live-streaming with a cell phone. The system works great with virtually any video or audio recording app, as well as with the native video recording app on the iPhone. I don't know how this would work with an Android phone. It works like a charm and provides clear audio. Very basic input levels can be made on the unit to avoid clipping. My only criticism would be that the battery charge does not last as long as I would like when not in use. Otherwise, it accomplishes the task that I purchased it for. Essentially, it is plug and play. However, if using it to record via cell phone, be sure to purchase the TRS to TRSS patch cable (SC7). It is unfortunate that this cable is not included with the microphone system itself and has to be purchased separately. Fortunately, the cable is only $15.

Great, tiny, wireless solution!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm using this for my youtube videos and I love the fact that it's wireless and small. I also intend to use this for vlogging and think it'll be great! Most vlogging rigs have a huge mic on top of the camera but to me, that makes the rig too big. This wireless mic system is small and helps maintain a low profile. I love it!

Professional and Simple Wireless Microphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After looking at various options for a wireless microphone system, I decided to go with the Rode Wireless GO Wireless Microphone. This is the best option if you are looking for a wireless microphone system for personal video projects without breaking the bank! It comes working right out of the box! I just turn it on, place the mic on my subject, connect the receiver to my camera, adjust the sound level, and hit record! If you struggled with poor audio quality, or you can't hear the people talking in your video because they are too far away or too much background noise, this will help you solve those problems. This is a great wireless microphone system if you are working on personal/school video projects, if you are on a budget, and/or you want something simple. If you purchase separate cords, you are also able to use this with your iPhone or iPad. I would purchase another system in the future!

Tested with a Sony video camera and a Samsung Tab A. If you plan on using theis with a phone or tablet make sure you also purchase the SC7 patch cable, the included one will not work with them.
