Posted .It’s important to know that the “bars” on your phone screen do not show you the full picture of your signal. At times Reach Case performance is seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to. You may also see better battery life because the phone isn’t having to work as hard to find and hold a signal.
The reason for this is that your phone's signal strength is measured in dB’s which use a logarithmic scale that is non linear like the earthquake scale. This means that you can have a 5 dB improvement (which gives you a 3X signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”. A full bar of improvement for your signal takes 10 dBs, which equals a VERY BIG 10X improvement in your signal.

The phone in the case has the same strength as the one out of the case. I gave it a 2 because when I dropped the phone, they both were.

If I receive a poor signal indication, I will extend the antenna to see if it helps reception and will amend this review.

Often times Reach Antenna performance is seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to. I have AT&T as my carrier, and purchased the case that was said to work with AT&T. There was absolutely no change in signal strength when it was put on, or when the slide was open.

Tough to use one handed with antenna extended

I've personally my seen my bars/signal increase after extending the antenna. The only problem I have, and the reason for only 4 stars, is that when the antenna is fully extended I have trouble using my phone one handed because I rest my phone on my pinky finger to support it, Other than that its awesome and very easy to install and operate.

It's very durable and I'm not worried about it falling, it's pretty strong. I have noticed that I get a stronger signal when I'm out and about, whether I'm indoors somewhere or outside. Great product, I would recommend it to my friends and family.

I also love that I can use my own case with it, but since I use a clear case it's very noticeable. That's not a big problem for me as long as I get signal.

The thick, strong case seems to provide the best protection against drops while maintaining a slim profile that comes with the phone. One area that may need improvement is the "Silent" switch access hole. It may be too deep for some users as I can barely reach it with my fingernail. Otherwise, the case works as advertised and provides phenomenal signal strength and call clarity.

It is well constructed, made of thick plastic and very durable. I really like the case. The antenna seems to work well too. I have noticed that my wifi coverage is better, especially with the slider antenna out. I have not made many phone calls, but I have noticed a few differences in the strength of my phone service coverage, and I have not dropped any calls. My battery life has been a lot better since using this case!

STRONGER SIGNAL FOR MOBILE DATA!!!

I know its not the coverage area because when I walk outside I get 4 to 5 Bars (AT&T) with great coverage. When I'm inside the building i'm at 1 Bar, and i can make calls and all but sometime they drop. When Inside I cannot even use my data its like Frozen dead, cant even load youtube or facebook. I was skeptical about this case, but I sure glad i bought it, Sure its not the best looking case and the buttons are hard to push but IT WORK! I am now able to get Mobile Data inside the building where I work, i can browse youtube videos and facebook at 2-3Mbps... That's all I care. To people who think this device is going to Give them More Bars, that's probably not how this item work, its suppose to improve signal/strengthen it, unless you know for sure something is blocking the signal, dont buy this case thinking its going to magically give you 4-5 Bars. This item just make you have a consistent connection, praise to this i can now watch/listen youtube while at work.
