I have no experience with non-Canon batteries, but for my $2000 camera I’ll spend the extra $20 on the battery.

I like to carry a backup battery for my canon 80D for shooting wildlife. I have not had to switch in the middle of shooting yet. The battery lasts a long time

excellent battery life, I would recommend this for canon users with eos dslr 5d mark iv. Great price versus amazon or ebay.

Please don’t buy an expensive canon dslr and put knockoff batteries in it. Use the genuine canon batteries and save yourself some trouble.

Purchased it as my additional battery backup, you can't go wrong with Original Canon Battery, it holds battery power and last longer than the generic ones.

This is the exact same battery as the one that came with the original camera and it holds a charge well. Plus, I got a good deal on it through a price match.

I've tried third party batteries in the past for my cameras for back ups, but nothing holds up like my Canon batteries. Love it!

I have used 3rd party and OEM batteries and the OEM batteries always last longer before needing to be replaced. A bit more costly but worth it in the long run.

The Cannon OEM batteries are expensive compared to the 3rd party alternatives. When reliability and length of service is important, it’s hard to beat the Cannon battery. I know what to expect using the OEM battery. When trying various cheaper 3rd party batteries, the quality and reliability has been all over the place. Ease of charging, length of charge and length of battery life have been disappointing. The quality control doesn’t seem to be consistent.

Holding power for 5 days with no problem it makes so I can recharge after each weekend and know that next week it will be good to go.

Initially pricey. Has come done in price where it is more affordable. Great for Canon 5D Mark IV and 5DsR. Needs fewer recharges that previous model.

This is a great battery for my Canon 7D Mark ii, I bought three and they keep my shooting all day without having to charge.

A good battery! A battery lasts me a whole day shooting photos and video. Wanted to have an extra one on hand just in case. I wasn't disappointed.

Great life, but but a spare to make sure you continue uninterrupted. I can do an all-day event with 2-3 of these.
