not a long game or a diverse one but its fluid and precise

I bought this game after watching the trailer. It looked interesting and it was only $39.99. I am glad I did! It is a fun game and challenging at times. I would recommended to anyone who likes action/puzzle shooter-type games.

This game is a cross between a platformer and 3rd person shooter/puzzle game. It is fun to play but does have long load times and gets a bit repetitive. The fight and movement mechanics are well done and the graphics are good.

Different game, good adventures, graphics and sounds.

When I first saw footage of ReCore during an E3 broadcast, I was very excited for it. I was really looking forward to it's release. When it came out, I read some reviews that said it was not what it was advertised to be. I decided to wait until it went on sale. When it did, I picked it up, and was reminded that I should not always follow the reviews - especially those from game magazines. I have always like platformers, and this is a solid one. Though it is not what I expected based on the initial videos, and it certainly was not what I expected based on the reviews, it fell comfortably in the middle. That spot in the middle is a really comfortable place where I am able to enjoy some really great platforming. I recommend it if you enjoy 3d platformers.

I enjoyed my time with ReCore, a decent third person shooter with interesting gameplay. The load times between death are still annoying even after a patch. If you can overlook that, ReCore should provide amusement for you

I did not know what to expect from this game being that this is a new IP but I am really liking it. The graphics are good and the controls are easy to catch on. I really liked that the game was only $40 as a new release.

I had seen a lot of people streaming or reviewing the game before I actually bought it. The world is vibrant and I enjoyed the interactions with the npc. My review is most for the bundled free hat that I got with the game though. The website did not state that you had to order it online to receive it. How ever when I got to the store this was what I was told. But because it was not worded that way on the product they were able to give me the one of the last hats they had in stock. This was a pleasant surprise and BB tends to still surprise me even though I have been a shopper for ages. Thanks guys.

Great platform game. Very hard, but the story is good and gameplay is fun.

Fantastic game if you just want a classic adventure game with platforming elements. Load times could be a bit long but it rarely got in the way of the enjoyment of the game.

This is a fun little game for the Xbox One. Not the most original, but good graphics and story. I recommend it since there aren't too many exclusive titles for the system.

Recore is a very fun and interesting game. The world's desert setting is a great area to explore and play in and the game's character and enemy designs are very cool and reminiscent of older titles. Even the gameplay is entertaining. But, as I began playing through the game, I started to feel that the game began to feel repetitive, empty, and boring. Sure, the game is fun and does a great job of combining platforming and gun play, but after the first few hours, the gameplay already begins to feel repetitive and very simple. I have personally set the game down just because I do not have the desire to continue playing through the game. The biggest issue that the game has is lack of depth. The first thirty minutes are extremely fun and memorable, but after that, I already began to see the game starting to rinse and repeat certain elements. You can upgrade your bots by collecting or crafting new parts for your bots, but I did not notice any major differences between the handful of parts that I found and switched in and out (other then some having some good, obvious benefits such as more health). The story appears simple, the platforming is simple, and the shooting is extremely simple (you really don't even have to aim). Now, I enjoy these three elements of the game, it's just that I don't feel like there is any reason for me to care about the story or to want to try harder when I play as Joule. I would say that recore is the Ratchet and Clank for Xbox, but lacks the charm, graphics, and even the sort of depth that the Ratchet and Clank games possess. I would highly recommend this game to younger gamers or to gamers who like the collect in game items or who are huge platformer fans (I'm personally not a huge platforming fan). But, to those who are looking for depth to their story or gameplay, you won't find that here. Also, keep in mind that I have only played for around five hours, so this review is not comprehensive of the entire title, but is instead my first impressions of the game itself.

Besides the long loading times that is being patched soon this game is pretty good at the price range. If you love platformers and games of old this is the game for you

A great update for the Xbox One X. Graphics are wonderful and the gameplay is smooth. Recommend this game to Xbox One owners.

I picked this game up at a great sale price. The color coded combat mechanics are unique and very fun to play when you get the hang of it. Fairly large map with dozens of puzzle type "dungeons" to complete. Overall a very fun play through.

Game is fun and makes you really think of the next move. Only thing Im not liking is the time it takes to load when you have to start over again.

Really fun game at 40 bucks and comes with bonus controller skin equals a really great value. If you love the Metroid prime for the Nintendo GameCube you would definitely love this.

The game is fun especially if you like games such as darksiders or zelda. The only problem i really have with the game is its loading times.

First, for some reason this game has a really long load time like 2-4 minutes which is unheard of for most if not all next gen games recently coming out. So I was a little annoyed starting the game already b/c it happened everytime you load game up. Once I get into the meat of the game I enjoyed it. Reminded me of a metroid/Zelda game in a sense you need power ups to access things later in the game and there is a lot of exploring. Boss fights were pretty cool but nothing too hard. Then all the sudden I hit a huge glitch! I needed to acces map to find things on the map that I missed to continue the story so I pause the game. The map doesn't load. I try again and again...still doesn't work. So I have to close the game and restart it. I started game here comes the terrible load time!!!...accessed the map and nothing there again. In short I tried 5x trying to access map and resetting game...sat there for like 1hr trying to fix the problem...I got so frustrated I sold game back and said forget it. I was pretty mad bc I was about 60% done with the game guess I won't find out how it ended! oh well! Good luck and hopefully they have patched it if u decide to get it. I would give it a 4 star if the glitches haven't happened.

I really enjoyed the characters and the game at the beginning. It started out with the promised of a good story and a lot of development only to leave me in a bit of frustrated wonder as to where the rest of the story was and what happened to the other bot I am shown with on the cover. I have been told that there is a patch that will add more to the story including the missing tank but as it stands I still enjoyed the world they had created and the gameplay even with the frustrating falloff at the end...
