Good game with great graphics and fun game play. One of the best.

This is a hard game to review, because on one hand I really enjoyed Recore. The combat is excellent, platforming is fun with some nice little kinks to keep the platforming interesting. There is a very cool loot/upgrade system for your pet robots, the characters are even likable, but, and you knew the "but" was coming... I feel Recore needed another 6 months of development. I've ran into 6 or 7 bugs where I had to reset my Xbox or I couldn't continue. Graphically Recore looks like an unfinished game, with some textures that would look home on a PS2 game. Recore's strong art direction saves it from being one of the worst looking games of the generation. There is also a content issue towards the end of Recore. Be prepared to backtrack 2 to 4 hours at the end to collect what you need to finish because otherwise Recore would of been too short for a 40 dollar game. Again, I think another 6 months would of turned Recore from a good game with flaws, to a great game with potential for a great franchise. But with so many flaws, I feel most will just overlook Recore, and leave the people who enjoyed Recore wondering what a sequel could of been...

Great story and narrative, the puzzles are creative and solid, and it looks really good. If you like traveling between maps, dungeons, an open-world, collecting loot, leveling up, and fast paced combat then you will definitely love ReCore.

Finally game. Controls take some getting used to but all around fun for a great price

i play a lot of games... and this is like nothing else out there. it has elements of other games... but when you mix them all together it creates something that hasn't been done yet i don't see any major problems with the game. I've owned or own every ps4 and xb1 exclusive... this is a solid title and a steal @ 39.99

This game is actually a lot better than what the reviewers say about. I have heard a lot of mixed reviews about this game and was hesitant to buy it, but at $15 I didn't have much to lose. I'm not going to talk about the story or controls because there is enough reviews about it out there. I will say if you need something interesting to play pick this game up and you might be in for a surprise.

The graphics are great and the controls are a breeze. Highly recommend the game.

Its very underrated and not as bad as some major sites seems to suggest, the load times are a little long but not unbearable, the graphics are around xbox 360 levels, gameplay is good and unique, only problem i see is some design decisions such as a more faster way to travel and no instant restart on some dungeons.

I got this for 16 bucks at best buy. That was an instant buy for me. If you find this Gem for 20 or less just buy it. You will love it. Trust me.

Great and fun game that both my son and daughter love

I know all the reviews are laying into this game but try it out for yourself first. The load times aren't really that long, I died and respawned in like 5 secs. Plus they patched it so it takes less time to load these huge areas with no load times. The gameplay can be pretty meh but the story is okay though.

This game is pretty good. It is fun. Has good mechanics. It does have some problems. Once you spend a little bit of time with it you can probably see that it could have used some more time in development. Probably 6 months or even another year. But I think they just wanted to get the game out there that's probably why the game is less than the normal 59.99 price.

I bought ReCore on a whim after seeing the trailer for it. It definitely has that old-school Metroid/Zelda feel to it -- being able to level up, finding new equipment to access new areas -- though it definitely brings modern gaming conventions like optional dungeons with multiple rewards, hunting challenges, and the usual array of achievements. It is a very short game, story-wise, though there's certainly the potential for longer play by going through all the dungeons and completing all the challenges. However, I did find that that gets monotonous after awhile. The story, while not amazing, does really help drive the game and keep it interesting with new areas and new enemies. Once you start going back over them again and again, it can drag on. Still, worth checking out.

but not great. $40 day one seemed like a fine price. Requires you to scour the world for collectables to completely finish it. IE. Arkham Knight requires you to do everything, including the enigma parts, to get the 'true ending'. Very repetitive, but fun and interesting. Feels like PS2 era shooters (in a good way). Good start to a new IP (I hope)

The game as a whole is quite good. The platforming is very welcome, the combat is fun, the world is fun to explore and look at. It does lack some polish however. Without getting into too many details, a glitch about 2.5 hours in caused me to have to restart my game. On the whole, this is worth the price of admission, but don't expect perfection.

Recent patch made the loading time concern much less of an issue. Game play really does bring back a lost genre from the 90s and is a blast to play. The plat forming aspect of the game has me hooked.

Games are tough to review because it's all a matter of opinion. Some people like to play FPS and give high reviews but to others who don't play that style they aren't good. This was a fun game that has highs and lows. A lot of traveling and a lot of the same gameplay over and over. Beautiful graphics throughout. It's at least worth a try.

Decent little game. The story take a little bit to get going but you get a connection with your pet character. The platform puzzles takes a little getting use to. Great cheap game.

For all the bad reviews this game for I was expecting a lot worse. The game isn't bad especially for the price. I was disappointed that the physical copy is not able to be used in Microsoft's play anywhere (on xbox and pc) and the vital controller skin is a pain to put on. If I were to buy it again I would get the digital version.

I am loving the game so far. I have a 4k TV and the game looks pretty good in HDR. There are some longer than average load times, however it is not a deal breaker. The game is a good third person shooter I do love running around, walk jumping and shooting. I highly recommend the game. I bought it on sale and do not regret my purchase.
