it really works. nice to not have to open up a unit door for tv to work with remotes.

I purchased this items because I brought a new Smart TV and my current Dish remote would not connect because the cable box was moved to the closet behind a wall. This devise allowed me to search through the Dish channels from the comfort of my living room without having to get up and change the channel in the closet.

Used to "go thru the Wall" from my home theater to my gear cabinet. Works.

I love it now that I've figured it out. When I first purchased this I could not find a spot in my home where it would operated. I was 2 day away from returning it. Now I've placed the receiver directly in front of product I'm operating (antennae completely down), transmitted within line of site of me (antennae completely down), almost perfect. I know longer have to open the cabinet now. Every blue moon I'll have to stand in front of transmitter to pick up signal but a 1000 times better than when I first purchased it. I would have given this 3 1/2 stars if it were an option.

Great product, did exactly what I needed. Easy set up.

We use the range extender to place AV component inside a cabinet and it works great for this application. The only complaints are 1) the square boxes and wires are hard to incorporate into any pleasing aesthetic and 2) cost is higher than I would have liked. Otherwise I am very pleased with the product.

I would greatly recommend this RF range extender. My amplifier is in a cabinet behind my easy chair while my TV is front. I can control everything on my amp using this RF range extender

After looking at a variety of solutions for controlling video equipment that was going into a cabinet I settled on the Recoton . Its very easy to set up and is pretty inconspicuous. But the best part is it really does work.

These worked great. Although what I wanted them to do they didn't but no fault of theirs. I wanted to use them between the shop and man cave. which has a distance of about 120'. They did reach that far when line of sight. But both the cave and shop are in old metal covered buildings. The distance was to great to work through the metal and to the receiver. But when I moved the receiver to a window and the shop one in the door it did work that far. But was not practical to use the equipment that way. So back to "gasp" walking to the cave to change the satellite channel. LOL!

This allowed us to have a clean mantle. We were tired of all the cables so we got this and were able to put the TIVO, power supply & AppleTV devices behind TV. This allowed us to free up the mantle for a wireless soundbar. After intermittent activity, we moved transmitter to mantle where the receiver was also placed to send signal straight up to the boxes lodged above and behind tv. This would get 5 stars if power supply would work like wi-fi instead of having to be within line of sight.

Solved the problem of my stereo unit being behind door of entertainment unit and having to be open to get signal to adjust volume. Now I can close the doors and operate the remote . Love it !

It takes a little maneuvering with the receiver, but once you get it the system works great. It took me less than five minutes. It runs my DVR from a different room with the existing remote.

Soon as I connected them when I got back to my sisters, it worked right away. Also you do not need them right next to the TV so that worked out great, because the TV is up on the wall.

It does the job. This is my first one and I would recommend it to any that would like to use one remote thru a wall.

I have all the equipment to theater room in the next room and its difficult to get a signelnwith my remote controls for some of my equipment. This fixed the issue but its not exactly inconspicuous

i purchased these to use with my home theater system. I have the television installed in the living room and the rest of the equipment - receiver and DVD player located in a closet in the hall about 30 feet away. The remotes that came with the TV, DVD and amp will not work from living room couch to the closet. I added one unit in the living room and the other in the closet in front of the units there. I now have all available functions from the factory remotes while seated on the couch. It is working great for me. Next addition will probably be a universal remote.

I connected two of my TVs together from two different rooms and needed a way to use the remote on both. This extender does exactly what I needed .

The range extenders work exactly as described. Makes changing channels from another room a breeze!

I needed to setup a TV for a member of the family that needed a temporary bed not near the current TV/cable setup. I purchased a TV but I didn't want (or really couldn't, easily) run the cable box so they could change the channel. I purchased this product to relay the signal from the position of the new TV to the old cable box. It was about 20 feet or so and it worked perfectly! The input lag was minimal and they were able to change the channel, browse the guide, or make changes in the menu.

Easy set up. Reading the directions would have sped up the process at our house.
