Excellent movie love the entire cast. The whole shebang.

Fun Non stop action. Looks and sounds great in 4K.

I’ve learned that when I watch an “action film”, I need to remember three things. First, I need to put my brain in neutral, and realize that nothing will be logical. Second, most of the film will be one chase scene after another, with the “hero”, rarely, if ever, being killed. Beat up a lot, but never killed. Third, the plot is almost unimportant. It always seems to take a back seat to the “action”, parts of the film. If that is the kind of movie that you enjoy watching, “Red 2”, will not disappoint. Besides the return of most of the key characters from “Red”, “Red 2”, brings with it some amazing actors. Joining returning favorites, Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary Louis-Parker, and Helen Mirren, are Neal McDonough (an excellent bad guy, that you really hate), Catherine Zeta-Jones, Anthony Hopkins, and Byung-Hun Lee (whose character is the badest hit man on earth). Even “Papa Johns”, shows up for a few moments. A more in-depth plot/synopsis for this film can be found in other reviews, Wikipedia, and the films IMDB. Basically, it is a race to retrieve, and neutralize a nuclear weapon that has been hidden inside Russia. In the process lots of people get beat up, and/or killed, and lot of property gets destroyed. I found it to be a fun movie to watch, and, if you like action flicks, I can highly recommend it. I would, however, suggest that you watch “Red”, first.

Retired C.I.A. Agent Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) is in love with Sarah Ross (Mary-Louise Parker) and enjoying their normal life. Out of the blue, Marvin Boggs (John Malkovich) meets Frank in the supermarket and tells that Wikileaks has released the information that they had participated and know the whereabouts of the Nightshade, a portable nuclear weapon that was smuggled in pieces and hidden in Russia. Now the top agents in the world are under contract to seek them out to discover where Nightshade is. The trio travels to Paris and teams-up with the Russian Katja (Catherine Zeta-Jones) to track down the former Russian Agent "The Frog" (David Thewlis) to get more information about the operation. They learn that the brilliant inventor Dr. Edward Bailey (Sir Anthony Hopkins) might know where the weapon is. They discover that Bailey has been interned in an asylum in London by the MI6 for thirty-two years and the British Victoria (Dame Helen Mirren) joins the team

This film has a great combination of jaw-dropping cinematic action scenes and overall acting. The story itself was a bit weak in my opinion, however, the film was still excellent.

I loved Red but this sequel was even better. The acting was pure action and worth every minute of laughter and surprise.. I loved the actors Interplay...great cast.

Felt the original Reds was slightly better but this is still very humorous. Old guy's taking on evil and coming out on top is a fun movie.

Red 2 is funny and witty as the first one. There's plenty of action and always a laugh from John Malkovich. If you liked the first RED then this one will also entertain you...

Great follow up to part one. So funny! The action was great and I loved the actors in it. One of my favorites.

If you love the cast like this, you’ll love the story. I love it especially with Helen Mirren.

Red 2, just as great as the first one. With a great cast. Also a $5 dollars movie. Can't go wrong.

Another entertaining movie with Bruce Willis! Just the right mix of action, humor, and characters.

I loved this film. Yes the plot is so thin as to almost be transparent. Yes it is filled with car crashes, car chases, and the most heavily armed but incompetent adversaries on film. But the CAST -- and the ACTION -- make this into an exciting romp by some very talented actors. It is hard to overshadow Bruce Willis in any film but this cast manages that. John Malkovich steals the show as "Mad" Marvin and does as much acting with his face as with the dialog. Helen Mirren is clearly having the time of her life playing Victoria and she is great. Anthony Hopkins as the mad scientist plays it to the hilt. Byung-hun Lee as the assassin hired to kill Willis is marvelous in his incredible fight scenes plus adding some real subdued humor about his plane. Also he introduces the new Gatling gun just released by the Army and that scene alone is worth the price of admission. Oh yes -- Bruce Willis was in this film -- and yes he does a good job but it is hard to surpass this team of actors -- he keeps up because he is an excellent actor but he has stiff competition in this sequel to Red. This is a non-stop action film with a simple plot but with a team of actors at their best and having a great time in the process. You gotta see this film.

In ‘RED 2,’ retired special ops agents are funny because they are seen-it-all semi-retirees. The crew survived bullets and bombs in RED and appear to be more casual in RED 2. It is apparent that Bruce Willis, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren are old friends with a past working relationship. Frank (Mr. Willis) is overprotective of his civilian sweetheart Sarah (Mary-Louise Parker) who wants a gun. They work together with Frank’s buddy Marvin (Mr. Malkovich) to thwart a secret international crisis concerning a nuclear device designed by a British scientist portrayed by Anthony Hopkins. The acting is top-notched with some complaisant female rivalry between Sarah and Frank’s former Russian flame (Catherine Zeta Jones). The fighting scenes are exciting due to the world’s number one assassin played by Byung-hun Lee who has been commissioned to disappear Frank.

Love the 4k and atmos. Good movie. Would recommend. Totally awesome movie!!

Got part 1 as well on 4k. Overall good pic and sound. Recommended
