Customers appreciate Red Dead Redemption 2's stunning graphics, immersive story, and detailed open world, frequently praising the realism and extensive content. However, some players found the controls somewhat challenging and expressed concerns about the online functionality and storage space requirements. The fast travel system also received criticism for being insufficient.

I just really wanted this game so much. I am so glad that I have it now!! I didn't knew that it was 2 discs in one that you need to use but I didn't mind it at all. I love this game and I love my horsey and my horsey loves me :D

Enticing story and immersive world. You'll feel for Arthur. Will probably change the open-world gaming industry. I was blown away by how immersive it was. You can talk to a random NPC and see them 5 hours later referencing your previous convo. So many inter-related "easter eggs". The things you do will be discussed on newspapers/random NPCs gossipping, it was so impressive.

The detail in this game is truly amazing. You can really tell that Rockstar put a lot of love into everything. There is so much to do aside from the story that you could spend hours just playing poker or dominos alone. This is a game that you can really get some enjoyment out of for a long time, and with online coming out Friday for everyone, there is even more reason to play.

This game is definitely going on the "best games of all time" list. Think of it as Grand Theft Auto, but American Western times. But it's a whole lot more serious and respectable. It's really more than just a game. If you take the time to stop and look at your surroundings, you'll realize the amazing world that Rockstar Games created. This game is phenomenal in all the right ways. I can't think of a single bad thing to say about it. It has everything. The storytelling, side missions, beautiful landscapes, hundreds of animal breeds, weapon customization, hunting, fishing, animal skinning animations, crafting and cooking, treasure hunting, multiple outfits and clothes for your main character, even horse customization with saddles and mane styles and more... The way this game represents it's characters throughout the story, it makes you care about them. Heck you'll even care about some random fellow on the side of the road with a broken leg and a heartthrobbing story that you'll stop to help him out. Or you have a choice of being the most ruthless outlaw of all time and shoot him in the other leg and take all his money. You can be as good or as bad as your heart desires and benefit from different perks of the Honor System. Everything in this game is made to such a quality that no other developer can do. Not Dice, Activision, Bethesda, Ubisoft or even Bioware has enough talent to come close to creating such a masterpiece that is Red Dead Redemption 2. Naughty Dog comes close with The Last Of Us. But even then this game provides so much more than others. So just buy the game. Even if you don't like Western films, you will still appreciate this game for everything it has to offer.

genuinely one of the best games i have ever played. very immersive and realistic while balancing fun all at the same time. i havent even gotten past chapter 3 yet due to how many times i would come across a side mission or a random event that i wanted to help, stop or rescue. the main story so far has been fantastic, havent done online yet but i havent heard that it was the bet due to rockstar not really supporting it but since i bought this for the singleplayer aspect and not the online aspect it didnt really effect my opinion. i will say it now, in a few months and in a few years that red dead redemption 2 is one of my favorite games to come out ever.

You've probably already read all the reviews or at least heard about them. The first RDR was an amazing story on the previous generation of consoles and this one absolutely blows it away with the added power of the current generation of systems. Developers have worked for years to maximize immersion in the game systems and the world you're playing in, and RDR2 succeeds in virtually every facet. Characters are truly sympathetic, deep and act as real people with real motivations and disparate personalities. Little touches like physically walking thru the general store to shop rather than the gamey "shopping list" pop-up add to the realism of 1899. You can practically taste the dust your horse kicks up on the trails - unless you're in the middle of a thunderstorm, riding up the sides of a mountain, etc...environments are stunning and remind you quickly of simpler times and shorter lives. Absolute must buy on either system! Haven't tinkered with the multiplayer aspect so can't expound (personally it's not that type of game as far as I'm concerned...). Purchase and watch the hours slip by!

The graphics, storyline and sheer enjoyment of playing this game. This game is a masterpiece. It allows the player the joy of having mission based objectives, free roam and the storyline is amazing. I have played this games for over 6 months and not tired of it. This will be a game I play over and over again.
I cannot wait for a RDR 3…..

Red Dead Redemption 2 is just incredible. The world feels alive, the story hits hard, and Arthur Morgan is one of the best characters in gaming. It’s the kind of game you get lost in for hours and still find something new every time.

First things first, this game is so realistic that I half expected tumbleweeds to roll through my living room while playing. The graphics are so jaw-droppingly gorgeous that I couldn't help but stare at the sunset for way too long, completely forgetting I had a mission to complete. Sorry, Arthur, your horse can wait a bit longer!
Speaking of Arthur Morgan, our protagonist, he's the definition of a cowboy with heart and charm. He's got more personality than a saloon full of rowdy cowpokes. I found myself getting emotionally attached to him and his ragtag gang of outlaws faster than a bullet leaves a revolver.
Now, let's talk about the world they've created. It's vast, breathtaking, and full of surprises. I rode through lush valleys, galloped across dusty plains, and stumbled upon hidden treasures that even the most seasoned gold digger would envy. But hey, be careful not to go off the beaten path for too long, unless you want to become dinner for a hungry bear or end up tangling with a group of overzealous bandits.
One thing that had me chuckling like a drunken cowboy was the random encounters. From a grumpy fella trying to find his lost dentures to a nudist asking for directions, this game sure knows how to keep you on your toes. I couldn't resist playing the hero and lending a helping hand, even if it meant losing precious time in my quest for redemption.
Now, let's address the horse in the room—the horse mechanics. Y'know, I never thought I'd be so attached to a digital equine, but dang it, those horses stole my heart! They're so realistic and responsive that I found myself whispering sweet nothings to my trusty steed, hoping it would make us both gallop faster. And let me tell ya, there's nothing quite like crashing headfirst into a tree and watching poor Arthur get launched like a ragdoll while his horse looks at him with sheer disappointment. Hilarious!
All in all, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an absolute blast, whether you're itching for a gunfight or simply looking to play cowboy dress-up. Just be prepared to get lost in the immersive world, forming bonds with your digital companions, and laughing until your belly aches. Saddle up, pardner, because this game is a wild ride from start to finish!

At a glance this game is incredible. The open world is huge and packed with detail. The storytelling is strong (for a game). Exploring the old west, venturing through towns, and getting into gunfights is just as mostly as it was in the first Red Dead. That said, the controls are awkward and take time to get used to, some of the quests are rather long and boring, and in some cases the commitment to realism makes for a "game" that isn't all that fun to play unless you can really get lost in playing the role of a cowboy. I'm enjoying it so far but not as much as RDR1.

Reading this are ya? You need to stop, buy this game, and get with the times bra! Level of detail achieved with this freak'n game is downright offensive. I've barely scratched the surface of this story, and I've already sunk dozens of hours into just trying to comprehend the level of depth. AMAZING.
