i played Red Faction since the original came out on ps2. the series is known for it's environment destruction and i also love the underdog story of rebels fighting much powerful forces. a story of rebellion which i relate to. i never played red faction guerrilla when i came out on ps3. there were so many games that i forgot about it. when i heard they were going to re release it on switch i was happy. saw one copy on the shelf and i picked it up and played it for hrs. this game is in 3rd person, unlike in previous games which was in 1st person. i don't mind the change imo it's better. i haven't finised this game yet but i played long enough to get an idea of how this game works. it's sort of like GTA. you run around destroying things. there are main missions and side missions that you can accept or not accept. you can blow anything up! what's not to like about this game. so far i'm liking it and i highly recommend

This game is all about blowing stuff up. It is an open world= sandbox type game. You start out with just a hammer and some explosives collecting salvage on Mars with your brother. Things heat up and you are recruted to the Resistance= Free Mars. From then on you go on missions to blow stuff up and free Mars from the Earth. There is enough stuff to do in this game to keep you entertained for at least a dozen hours or so. I'm having a "blast" playing this game. Lol.

Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered is a remastered port of an extremely fun open world sandbox style game that released on 360 and PS3. It looks and runs better on Switch and the gameplay still holds up today. On top of that, it has a quality and performance mode that allows you to prioritize visuals and resolution or a higher framerate, which is awesome! I highly recommend this game!

The game is so much fun for the switch because of the portability! Looks great, plays great and is all round fun!

Blowing up people is fun and the only way to make a fun thing better is to put it in space. And yes, Mars is not space, but close enough. There are frame rate issue with this port and a lack of local multiplayer, so the game loses some points there. But if you can get it cheap, it'll entertain you for at least ten hours.

You’re basically on Mars and given a giant hammer and a few other tools that you can upgrade and just let loose pure mayhem of destroying things brick by brick strategically making structures fall or going on side missions. It’s completely satisfying with the rumble technology in the controllers.

Once again the Nintendo Switch gets another AAA game ported and the game has all its content, it’s all there. Nothing was sacrifice, graphically and with the frame rates. If you are looking to have this game on the go then don’t hesitate because this game is extremely fun and challenging.

If you like blowing up and destroying everything in play then this game is awesome. I love the gameplay physics and the game is fun but not too challenging

Pretty fun. I played it in my laptop years ago and when I saw it was coming in the switch I decided to get it had been pretty fun

Just started playing the game. Played it on another system and it is basically the same game. Still need to get used to the controls. Fun game either way.

Destory stuff with bombs and mechs in big open areas on mars. This also have game has a dark sci-fi story with is good voice acting. It a good game.

This still holds up as one of the best games in terms of destruction...it has held up very well over the years.

The storyline is pretty good, but the unique gameplay/ability to destroy buildings/vehicles/the environment is unbelievably fun.
