underperforms, breaks, warranty not honored
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the unit never heats the square footage advertised. Out of the 2 I bought just under a year ago and used for maybe 4 months, both are malfunctioning badly. The humidifier function only works on 1 of them and the fans are getting nosey on both --each with a different offensive sound, chirping on one, surging and stalling on the other. THE MANUFACTURER REFUSES TO HONOR THE WARRANTY and has told me that since I bought the units at "a wholesaler" they're not covered. Which is pretty much what a company that makes a bad product WOULD say now that I think about it.
