The XWFE water filter works perfectly in my GE refrigerator. I was not sure if it would fit well after reading other reviews, but it went in perfectly. The water it filters tastes very good. I used to purchase bottled water, but now I am saving money because the XWFE filter makes the water taste even better than the bottled water that I used to buy. And, if you read the instructions, you can request that GE send you a water filter plug, just in case you do not want to use the water feature. Or just in case you can't afford a new filter, and only want to use regular water. The only downside is that they are expensive.

Easy to pop it, and filters nicely. It is much better than the off brand. When installing, don’t be alarmed by the initial spit-up of water; it’s just ridding urself of air bubbles.

This water filter is one of the most easiest ones. I have ever had to install and it does a great job purifying our water out here in the country..

I bought these filters to replace less expensive ones that leaked. These are easy to install in my GE side by side and work perfectly. Purchased from Best Buy with a subscription. Receive automatically every 6months. It’s convenient and I get a discount.

Easy is, easy does it! Not much to it, but to do it. Plug and play. It's that simple. Water/ice tastes great. No complaints here on our end.
