Installation Issue

Important to note that they can ONLY install the water line if there's an existing line. I asked both in the store and their customer service rep (800 line). Both said they could install a new line, however, their installer told me they did not have the tools or skill set to do it and refunded me the money for the service.

Technitiants arrived on time however the job wasn't completed. A part according to them was missing. They should had put a little more effort to complete everything.

Love the refrigerator. I saw it at a vacation cabin I stayed in. I love the size and the compartments to store food. I love the freezer on the bottom. The installer were very professional and knowledgeable when installing the refrigerator.

Best Buy did everything right. I just wished they would know who they are outsourcing their plumbing work. The day ice maker was needing to be connected. Company were very prompt, but seeing our situation as we had to need to drill through and hose connected to a water source. I was informed it would cost extra as the fees collected by Best Buy was not sufficient. I feel we were taken, for the situation we were in, after waiting almost 2 weeks and taking a day off to get this appointment.

I love the fridge itself, Ive been waiting to get the waterline since June. So far theyve canceled my last four appointments (at the last minute after I waited around from them all day every single time) This last time they said they would call to discuss our 5th attempt at an appointment....still waiting for that. Its now November...

They did a decent job and were very quick. Neither guy was very friendly and they didn't clean up the mess left from drilling into my floor. They just slid the fridge right over the sawdust.

Waterline installation

Bestbuy scheduled my refrigerator delivery and waterline installation on two different days. Why? Idk, as I didn't think anything of it, until Spencer from delivery had offered to install the waterline after they had placed my fridge in place. Thus cancelling the second unnecessary appointment for a waterline install. Thanks for killing two birds with one stone Spencer. Thus far, no issues.

The installers from Best Yet Installations were friendly, educational, fast, and great to work with. Alex and Zack were transparent on what they were installing and why. They also made sure that there were no leaks and the water dispenser was working properly, even offering a few tips and informing us on our servicing/warranty options.

The fridge installation was a breeze and the team has efficiently brought the fridge through the door and put it in place. Within minutes it was ready and plugged in.
The team that installed the waterline was amazing. Their expertise and the solution to lay the water pipe from the sink water line to the fridge exceeded my expectations and I have been very happy with the outcome. Many thanks to such a skillful team.

Unfortunately my refrigerator did not come with an ice maker which would have been the water line which this review is for. I elected not to have an ice maker as I do not use ice. Again, I am Extremely Satisfied with my Refrigerator and Freezer.

2nd service call to reconnect the water line to our brand new refrigerator from best buy after they connected to wrong line first. Now say they cannot connect & said for us to call a plumber. Service from Best Buy Bastrop has been way below acceptable. Will never consider buying from them again.

Don't waste your time and money

I wouldn't recommend using BB installation. They sub contracted my install to ProTech Edge. They showed up late. As they were trying to figure out how to install my water line to my fridge, they tracked mud on my carpet. Then they told they weren't equipped to install my line because they don't carry PEX piping tools on their rig. They said they had to talk with the boss and get educated on how to do the install. They said they would be back in a couple of days. A week later, I get a call 20 minutes before they were supposed to get to my house. They asked if I had the plumber install a T fitting. I told them I was never asked to have a plumber come out. I asked why would I pay BB for a install and then pay a plumber on top of it. He said that someone in their office dropped the ball. But there's nothing he could do. The complete unprofessionalism and complete failure of this company is unacceptable. If I could give a negative star, I would.
