Well it straightens my hair and moisturizes it pretty well. My hair usually feels like straw after using a flat iron BUT NOT WITH THIS ONE! While it does give my hair a lottttt of moisture it does not straighten as well as other irons without the steam feature. It is a bit of a trade off because I like to get my curly, wild lion hair to look pin straight. The Babyliss Nano Titanium 1" Ultra-Thin Straightening Iron does that for me, but gives me the straw hair. Sigh. This Remington iron proves to be the healthier option for your hair over time. It is larger but very easy to use. Hair type: 3B

I haven't really figured out how to use the steam yet, but i love this. My straight hair doesn't get stuck in the plates and i have hardly any fly aways. Not to mention it heats up in seconds!

I hated straightening my hair cause it took forever and my hair always ended up frizzy and dry; but with the remington protect straightener, it's a breeze and my hair is always soft, shiny and bouncy afterwards. The wide plates also let me straighten larger sections of hair at a time so I'm done in no time. The only downer is that you only get a small amount of the hair conditioning treatment so I guess I'll have to use distilled water after its finished.

I really like the temperature control, so its good for my natural hair and weaves as well

This straightener works great. Heats up quickly however won't burn my hand.

This flatiron works "just ok". I like that the temperature is adjustable but the handle is a little awkward and difficult to manage. It also down't glide as smoothly and easily as other flatirons I've used.

PROS- Thin,light weight,heats up quick CONS-Doesn't really get the job done as good as you may hope. Lots of swipes for someone who is not a professional.

This was for my daughter. She said it works great. Works much quicker than old unit, and doesnt dry out her hair.

Bought it as a gift for the wife she loved it ......I'm a guy and I could see the difference.

I was not expecting it to be as fast. I like it. Works fast and for home use it is just what we needed.

the vapor infusion slot interferes with the irons ability to do a small amount of curling with the strainer.

great hair iron, forks in every condition, the only down side is that when I bought it at Best Buy it was missing the oil, so I had to come back and change it

This is the first time I am buying a hair straightener! I have ironing board straight hair naturally but with the frizz, I needed one. I love it!!

Bought it for my wife for her birthday and she's been enjoying it since she couldn't been happier with how good it straightens.
