Install was quick and easy. Dropped off the car and within two hours was called to come and pick it up. The installer took the time to go over everything with my granddaughter so she knew how to work the remote start. I gave a four star review due to the person who checked us in. He did not take the time to ask our names and went on to say there was no proof in the purchase of our remote start and without it they would not be able to install. I pulled up the app and showed hint he receipt. He was confused and still stated they did not have it in their system so he could not install it. When I looked down at the paper he had I noticed it was not my name and shared the information for our order. He also complained that we were there early and that the install was set for 11. I explained that I had put in the comments that we would be dropping the car off seeing we had work. The lack of being prepared, knowledgeable, and courteous caused the drop off one star. If it was not for the installer we worked with when we picked up the car it would of been lower.

Prompt, quality service. Zero complaints. They were very professional and did a great job. I used to be an installer, so I notice the little things, and there was pretty much nothing I wouldn't have done myself. They did a good job and I was happy to have used their services. This was included in the purchase price of my remote start, so it was a no-brainer to let them do that hard parts. :)

Best Buy Blaine installed the Compustar - 2-Way Remote Start System - Model:CS4905S-KIT. The 2 installers at the Northtown Mall location were all business. They were young but experienced appeared experienced in installation. They were working there tails off when I dropped off the car and when I picked it up. They were able to answer all my questions and then some. I wish I had take the time to read product manual to learn all the installation features and options, as the started comes from the factory with a 25 minute run time. I would have preferred 15 minutes. The one question I didn't ask! The guys already were working on 2 cars and I didn't want to wait as they offered to change the setting but they needed to finish the cars they were working on before getting to my car. I respect that. My mistake. The installer told me the installation would take 2 hours. However, they called me at the 1 hour mark telling me it was completed. How awesome is that! Overall very impressed with installation. The starter is what I expected and I am happy with everything.

Our installer Victor was very careful to do a great job. And he did! He called us in preparation for our appointment to make sure everything went well. He and his assistant made sure to do a great job and we are very satisfied.

They did a great job on the install. I can't see any of the wires. Everything is put in place. They did a great job. It didn't take him very long to do either.

I had Geek Squad install a CompuStar remote start system in my wife's Sportage 6 months ago. It has worked flawlessly since the installation. They were on-time, courteous, and did great work: no loose wires, and the car was perfectly clean when the work was completed. I would definitely use Geek Squad installation for remote start again.

The Lawrence, Kansas Best Buy Tech who recommended and installed this remote starter has been with Best Buy for over 20 years. I couldn't be happier. The total price for the hardware and installation was around $300.00 (it was on sale at the time) . I am a very happy camper. It never faIled me this past winter

Install went well even told me how to leave the car running after you park somewhere don't have to shut it off

I had originally bought a CompuStar 4900S-KIT and showed up to have that installed, but the tech mechanic recommended the Viper instead. Which had ended up working out better, and took less time to install than the other system would have since the CompuStar didn't have a T-harness. It's worked exactly as it should with my 2012 Jeep Patriot and I LOVE it! I upgraded to a 2-way remote because I wanted confirmation that the vehicle had started. It's been installed for almost a month now and I don't have any complaints. HUGE shoutout to TJ at the Mt. Juliet Best Buy (the closest store to me, and still an hour away). He was absolutely amazing, very friendly, and informative. I'd recommend him to anyone I know. Thanks, TJ!

Mike did a great job on my remote start install for my vehicle. My car came back the same as when I dropped off except with a new remote starter. Mike was very informative regarding the new remote start and helped me decide in which one to purchase.

The installation of my car starter was 45 minutes ahead of schedule. The installer showed me how to use the fob and had me try it to make sure I understood how to make it work.

I love it an works great. Plus it was reasonable. The distance is unbelievable.

I was so happy with my end result from scheduling actually a different keyless entry system to be installed to the one I received. I had purchased a keyless entry system via Best Buy and was excited to get it installed it was the Viper system. However when I called in the rep for the installation team convinced me to also get the remote start because my car innately came with a alarm and keyless entry. Baffled and going out on a king I decided to trust the gentleman and I am glad I did. On the day of the install I was met with a warm and friendly demeanor from the installation team member. He explained in detail what the process would be how long it would take and gave suggestions as to what the area had to offer for me to do in the meantime.I left my car there with all the reassurance that when I returned I would be overjoyed with the end result. I will say I was left more than satisfied after the installation. I am looking to have more tech installed in my car and the geek squad installation team is very trustworthy and helpful I am definitely coming back in the future.

It's woking great. The installation was quick and the instructions were simple. This was the second one I bought. This is a newer model with a little more to offer. The first one worked so well in my suv, I had to get one for my son's car. I am well pleased.

My car alarm was upgraded nathan was able to pair my new alarm system with the existing alarm system in my 2020 jeep grand cherokee limited awesome job works great now i have more peace of mind when I set my alarm at night! Thanks nathan awesome job!

Very tenacious and got the job done in the end.. went to a few places before coming to best buy and none.of them would take on the job as too difficult.. Garret Raymond had many issues over lots of hours but he stuck to the task, kept me informed at all times and eventually did a great job
