I have never had any one as experienced and also have such amazing Customer Service than I experienced from (I believe Scott) from the Murray Best Buy. Not only an amazing Job installing my Auto start on My 2013 Speed 3. But took the time to explain and answer all and every question I asked. I would Highly recommend This Location and the install team to anyone looking for quality and care when it comes to any install on your vehicle. They treat it as their own and is returned as if nothing was ever taken apart.

It was the best experience of best buy. I had the remote starter installed. Every thing works well for me. So happy and now I am ready for the cold weather.

Love my alarm for my truck just have to get use to it

I had a Viper alarm installed along with the module to have my windows roll down automatically on an aux channel. The alarm works as it should and the windows do roll down on demand, however; the driver door window sometimes rolls up and down but sometimes it does not. I had to take the door panel off to change the speaker and a big bunch of wires just fell out. I do have pictures. No tape, straps, or zip ties in site except the red ones for my tweeter. I had to cut all the half crimped connectors off and solder and shrink wrap everything correctly along with mounting the relay that was just hanging around too. I've installed a very large amount of stereo systems in my life but never an alarm, that's the only reason I brought my truck in. After seeing the completed job, I wish I would have installed it myself saving me a couple of hundred bucks! No wires were ran through the firewall, everything exposed and ugly, and they had my truck for about 6 or 7 hrs, double the estimated!

I bought the remote starter for my car as a feature during the winter time, hike the starter did work some sensors inside of the engine bay were left unconnected and simply dangling, also after the installation was done the people working on the car never put the screws back on the engine cover which ended up on the cover burning and the car smoking a lot, it could’ve been a fire hazard taking in consideration the plastic could’ve gone inside of the intake manifold. Hoping to hear a call back for the engine cover of my car

The alarm doesn’t work very well at all I can pull on all the door knobs and jump up-and-down on the back my truck and it does not go off, by the way the alarm is set on ten the most sensitive it can be set on. I was told that if a loud truck drove by it would go off.. that’s not true with mine anyway

The remote start and installation went very smoothly. Simply drop the car off at the appointment time and picked up as promised before end of the day. The range on the remote start is excellent. Much better than the stock remote start on any of my other vehicles. I had 2 of these installed on wife and my daughters cars. They couldn't be happier. Tends to go through batteries about every 5 months but they are cheap and easy to replace.

I purchased the remote start system as a Christmas present for my wife, and although I'm familiar with automotive electronics, decided to have the Geek Squad install it both because they have the experience to do the job quickly and neatly, and because the remote starter ties into multiple vehicle systems. The results exceeded my expectations: the Viper remote start system works like factory original (or better) with excellent range and great security. Just as important, everything looks like factory original - almost all of the system is invisible, with the wiring neatly cabled and properly secured (I got under the dash and checked), and the only visible component, the antenna, is tucked almost invisibly above the rear-view mirror, matching both the color and layout of the mirror mount, with the wiring perfectly hidden behind the headliner. The Viper system comes with one remote; I had a second installed, which was programmed to the system at no additional charge. My wife absolutely loves both the convenience and the appearance, and looks forward to getting into a warmed and running car during the upcoming Michigan winter. I am equally pleased; in addition to my wife's reasons, I'm very happy that my gift to her was so well done and greatly appreciated. Thank you Viper, and thank you Tripp and Holland Best Buy!

I've had a ton of audio, video, and other stuff done on my three vehicles over the years at the Champaign, IL Best Buy. The option to have Geek Squad auto techs install stuff is usually a great value for the price, the service, and the fact that the service is guaranteed at any Best Buy (meaning you get get additional issues addressed at any Best Buy regardless of where the original installation service was performed). The service guarantee is also plus because it allows you to go back and have things adjusted, tweaked, or changed until things get to your complete satisfaction. The remote start is one of the last things I added to my vehicles after upgrading audio, video, and other stuff. Ryan at the Champaign Best Buy did an excellent job installing these remote starts on my two current vehicles. The installation and programming process was surprisingly pretty different for each vehicle, and Ryan took the time to make the adjustment so I could get the best out of the system for both vehicles. Let the pros do it-especially if you can get it done at the Champaign, IL Best Buy by Ryan, Phil, or Josh. Matthew 7:12

Works great, easy to use, install is fast and easy, good range

I purchased the Compustart remote car starter along with the DroneMobile accessory. The scheduling and installation went smoothly. They anticipated 3 hours and that was an accurate time frame. Unfortunately, my starter did not work as it was supposed to from the first time I tried it at work! I quickly called the Geek installers. They said to drop it off and they would work on it between their other jobs that day. I did not appreciate that I didn't have a specific appointment time. They were great about trouble shooting quickly. When I went to pick up the car, it was demonstrated that the remote starter worked. Unfortunately, the second time I went to use it at work, it didn't work again! They said to bring it in again and plan on leaving it all day for them to work on it between other appointments. Ugh! I felt like I was getting jacked around. I purchased the starter under the pretense it would work as advertised! I received a call before 3pm that the car was ready. Rob J. worked on my car all 3 times and he was knowledgeable and expedient. He explained each time what he felt the problem was. The second time he told me the DroneMobile was not at fault and he would be replacing the Compustar starter. Bingo! The starter is working beautifully! Despite the obstacles of troubleshooting, I feel I received good knowledgeable service. I was very fortunate to have the same technician each time for continuity. I gave a 4 star evaluation because of the inconveniences that I had to deal with!

For years I've been putting off getting a remote start. I wish I would have done it sooner. The 2 way radio lets me know it's been started and the distance is wonderful. Able to start it up from inside an office building with no site of the car. it's a wonderful item on these cold winter days

I bought this remote system for my husband as a Christmas present. The price of installation was included with the product. It is easy to use, and a great price! It works from a far distance. My husband loves his new toy!

Works great. I have been starting my truck at work about 400-600 feet away through block walls, with no problem. I have the one way/one button remote, but this unit can be easily upgraded to a 2 way 3 button remote if I want.

Got this installed on my wife’s SUV. She loves being able to get the car warmed up without having to run out or ask me to go start it up. Decent range and you can control it from inside the house

Went looking for Viper remote start since I had one before and was used to the setup. Even though their customer service is terrible and the warranty was a joke. The best buy install guy showed me this compustart and after explaining it to me and showing how easy it was to customize and add on to I purchased it. The quality and finish on the components is much nicer than anything Ive seen from Viper. Range has been excellent. The install person even called me to say I could return the security module I purchased since my newly purchased vehicle had one which saved me alot of money. Most places wont even deal with Viper anymore and I see now thats not a bad thing.

Works great. Ha e had no problems with it. My son like show off to his friend on the distance it will start it from.

I bought this Remote Starter for my sons Honda Accord and he loves it, works great, has very good range, and was a great buy at the time...

It locks and is reliable. It clicks once for locks twice for unlocks and is really loud and annoying when the alarm goes off.
