I was greeted and directed too appliance accesories and found the proper filter. It fit and installed easily. Another store tried to have me buy a different filter, had bad threads and wouldn't fit. You giys take care of me all the time

I made the mistake once to use a generic filter for my GE fridge, it broke all the system. I had to spend like 200 on parts for saving 20 bucks on the filter. Buy the real filter, works great, water tastes great and you will never have a compatibility issue.

First, my store in Gainesville where I purchased the refrigerator has only 1 option and with that option only 1 in stock, This filter is expensive as THEY GOT YOU! As stated it lasts only 5-6 months. Was easy to take out the old and put in the new. Do I recommend this item, yes as I have no alternative. Wish I had options

These filters are not cheap but they do the job, Ive seen 3rd party filters sold but who really knows if its doing its job, I can tell the difference from filtered water to non filtered water, sometimes you just have to spend the money!

This filter works great for us and it's very handy to be able to have one automatically sent to us every 6 months. Also nice to get a price break for doing so.

I thought I'd get some cheaper filters that I saw online. 1 (one) worked, the others leaked and we had a mess. I sent hubby to get the "real thing" and we won't ever stray again! It went right in, no leaks!
