This filter is great and very easy to install. Only drawback is when to first change the filter with a new one, you have to run the water for several minutes in order for the water to taste normal. After that, the water tastes good and fresh.

The filters do seem to last the full 6 months and do an excellent job of removing any odor or taste from the water. It is nice to have drinking water at the fridge and the filters are easy to replace. Our model refrigerator shows yellow and then red when time to replace, so there is no guesswork.

This filter performs as expected based on the specs of the refrigerator and the filter. It's easy to install, although if you are short you are going to have a hard time reaching the back of the fridge in the upper right (if your filter unit is in the same place mine is). Two things I don't like is that when you remove the filter a fair amount of water will spill into the fridge and need to be cleaned up and when first installing a new filter you will need to flush two gallons of water through. This seems pretty standard though as far as filters go. I also have a PUR filter installed on my kitchen sink faucet. I had the water tested from that along with water from the Samsung fridge. The quality was nearly identical with the PUR filter actually doing slightly better. It makes me wonder why I continue to use the fridge, but the main reason I think is because the water coming out of the fridge is much cooler than the faucet. If it wasn't I probably wouldn't use my Samsung fridge for water at all.

I've purchased this model filter several times over, what seems, the last decade. I have never had an issue with it leaking or adding a strange taste to my ice water or ice. Of course, I wish it would cost less, but I do not feel it is overpriced.

I have had my Samsung refrigerator for more than 5 years. These filters need replacement about every 6 months. They seem to be working. Water and ice tastes good. The filter gets very heavy after 6 months so they must be filtering something. Too bad they weren't cheaper.

Water tastes great with the filter. Very easy to install. The only thing I hate is having to discard 5 gallons of water for the first use. Luckily we have lots of plants, so we make our rounds and water the plants and trees outside instead of pouring it down the drain

It's very simple and easy to change the refrigerator water filter. This keeps your water extra clear and tastier. The Samsung water filter takes only 3 minutes to change and then gives you many, many hours of clean and fresh water.

I have not looked at any other brands or types as I have been using this filter for my Samsung refregitors for the past 10 years. It's water so I don't want to take any chances. Love this product and is always available at my BestBuy store.

Great product! Easy to install and is a good way to have filtered water in you home. The cost of this product is way to high. Lower the price and people will replace the filter more often. Sales will go up and people will be happier with the product.

We've been using this Samsung water filter since we bought our refrigerator about 15 years ago now. It's easy to install and water tastes fresh all the time. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it

The water filter works as expected. The Samsung filters are a little pricey, but compared to the aftermarket brands, they just work better. No leaks, no problems, just crisp, clean water. It's worth the slightly higher price.

These filters are simple to install and I enjoy the taste of the water produced by this system. (Which is a lucky thing because as far as I know, this is the only choice I have for a replacement filter for my fridge!)

Our family drinks a lot of water. We change the filter every 6 months and u can definitely taste a difference when u do. The only drawback is that it is expensive especially when u buy 2 a year. Otherwise it does make great tasting water.

Installed the filter with no problems. After flushing the refrigerator line I drank a glass of water. The taste was markedly better tasting than it was prior to the replacement.This is an excellent replacement water filter.

Easy to remove and install. Makes a huge difference in taste of water. We have heavily chlorinated water, so filter works great!
