This is the 4th time I have bought this game. Each time they remaster It Ill buy it. One of the best games ever.

If you have played Resident Evil 4 before then this is just the exact same game but with HD graphics. If you haven't yet played this game... you should as this is probably the best in the series.

I have played 3 older version of this game and loved them the graphics I hear are from the pc version and looking better than ever some of the cut scenes they didn't fix put other than that good

I have played this many times over the years. The good thing about this remake is the updated controls. The previous remake for Xbox 360 did not change the way that aiming worked. With this one, there is a change to a more modern control method.

It's the same amazing Resident Evil 4 you remember, but with a fresh coat of paint on current gen consoles. Not much else to add. Can't go wrong having this classic in your library.

If you haven't played RE4 before, stop reading reviews and just play it. It's one of the best video games ever made, and still holds up well over a decade after its original release on the GameCube. This release is fine, and cheap, and the XB1 controller is really comfy for the game. For those of you who have already played RE4, there's some strange stuff in this port, like a subtitles option in the menu that can't be interacted with. You can't turn subtitles on, but the option is there. It's a bug that will probably never be resolved. There's also a weird bug with the aiming animation where it loops much too quickly. Pretty distracting.

I am a fan of the series and playing as many as I can. they are being released backwards on Xbox but for some reason I feel like I am really good at this one in particular.

This game is the one that the started the evolution to more action than horror in the series. Improved controls made it easier to control and fun to play. Great game.

This is my personal favorite resident evil game. Loved it back for the game cube now we got a remastered version and it looks amazing. It still holds up to this day

The base game of RE4 is a masterpiece and I have played almost all versions of this. The only issue is that the port work is inconsistent and the classic textures are present and not the least bit upscaled.

Its hard to compare this resident evil with any other in the series. The Wii version is still the best, but having it on the next gen is second best hands down.

I've purchased and played RE 4 on multiple platforms and the X1 didn't disappoint. Definitely grab this if your a fan and with gamers club it was a steal .

If you enjoyed this game back in the glory days of the PS2, then this is a MUST HAVE!!! If you have never played this classic, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?!?!

As I've already reviewed the game on GameCube I'll make this short and sweet. This game plays exactly how you think it will, controls being the same and so on. The main upgrades are smoother graphics and animations which really make a difference if you played the older version. This is, in my opinion, the best RE game to date and putting it on the current gen consoles makes me replay the game a lot more. Keep in mind the as I said before the controls are the same, so for some it might take some getting used too, but to those who played the original its nothing new.

So Resident Evil 4 is a classic game through and through, so the game itself is perfectly fine. The main issue is that not enough was done with the port given that this isn't the first rerelease.

Resident evil 4 is a great game, considered "best" of the series by many. If you haven't played this one recently or at all, I highly recommend it.
