I was super happy they remade this for the PS4. Resident evil 5 is one of those games that once you sit down and play, you don't want to stop until you finish it. This will always be one of my top games during the PS3 era.

I've played numerous resident evil games and this one is definitely one of my favorites. Not only does it have a good story, but you also get to play the whole campaign with a friend online. At the price it's at, definitely great bang for your buck.

I was glad to see this game released for PS4 since I never purchased a PS3 and wanted to play through the whole series. RE:4 was a masterpiece that changed the series and genre, so 5 had a lot to live up to. It's mostly more of the same, but with the awkwardness of having a white protagonist going into Africa and killing the locals who have turned. They managed to take that questionable premise and make it worse by having villages in later chapters randomly decide to return to traditional tribal dress and weapons. Overall, not a very good look for the series. On the plus side, I enjoyed the partner system, the graphics were good, and it seems like it will have good replay value as there are bonus missions and extra characters to play as.

I loved this game when it originally came out on the PS3 and it was great to play through it again on the PS4 with upgraded graphics and the bonus content. Highly recommended for a good value whether or not you've already played it before.

This is a highly recommended game for any friends or couples looking for a coop game to play together. I have some of my best coop memories playing this game with my friends. Also you get both DLCs with this purchase so you get plenty for $20

Right now (8-12-2016) this apparently has some bugs with splitscreen mode, but a patch is coming. Once that's done, this will be the definitive version of a fantastic game. The Mercenaries United mode alone made this a worthwhile buy for me.

Previously played it on PS3 and purchased again for cheap on the PS4. Fun times. As with RE4, this one is more geared towards action than survival horror. Coop and survival modes are fun. Definitely pick it up now that it's discounted.

I bought this to play local co-op with my wife, as she wanted something to play with me and not many games offer couch co-op these days. It's a great game for what it is and if you are a fan of the series you will not be disappointed.

I really like the weapon upgrading system with this game and how you are usually out of ammo. It just makes it a lot more tense and fun. I also really enjoy the mini bosses like the chainsaw guy which always make for a fun time.

This game is a blast single or multiplayer. I’ve probably played through it with my brother 4 or 5 times. Lots of unlockables, challenges, and difficulty levels provide great replayability and hundreds of hours of fun

Took a lot of what made 4 great and just added to the formula. I miss the inventory suitcases of 4 and the A.I. of your partner can be wonky sometimes but it's still a game I've beaten numerous times.

This is exactly the same game as the previous versions released before, great game specially on co-op mode, there is an extra difficulty level and graphics have been slightly improved and minor tweaks and character skins.

The good about this game is the price point with all dlc included.. If you haven't played this game before now is the time! The camera views are wider so you see more than what you may have seen on the ps3.. Plus with faster loading!

Big fan of the Resident Evil games. This one isn't the best but it's still a good game remastered in 1080p and 60fps. You can also play with a friend in the campaign.

The co-op feature is really fun and the Times challenge mode is super addicting trying to get points to unlock unlimited ammo and figures. If you're an REfan it's not a bad action title but it's not like RE1-3.

This is the first Resident Evil franchise game i've purchased. Price was right. Graphics are great. I'm not used to the "over the shoulder" cam. (Which apparently, is the only view you get). THe inability to change the view is making the games more difficult for me than it should be. I'm also lost in that it appears this game picks up where a previous one left off, so I have no knowledge of the backstory. For as far as I've gotten, the storyline hasn't really provided any historical context. To that end, I'd say if you have not played RE 1-4, dont start with 5. Since all the RE series games are sale, start at the beginning, not the end.

This takes me back to 2009 when I played this back on xbox 360. I got all the achievements and enjoyed multiplayer. This is a worth playing again especially with the frame unlock. which ranges around 50-60 fps.

I loved Resident Evil 5 went it first came out many years ago. This new version has been remastered for the PS4 and looks great! It has the story mode and all the multiplayer. You won't regret picking this one up.

Resident Evil 5 is a step back from its predecessor in terms of story and atmosphere, but maintains most of the gameplay that made RE4 so good. Co-op play improves the experience so you don't have to deal with the dumb partner AI.
