I'm given 3 stars because the game often hang and you will have to restart. Great game though!

This game has more action than any R.E. game and leaves the suspense in the past. If you are a fan of survival horror, this game leans more on the action side. The game does a great job as far as the action is concerned but falters when it implements quick time events. While R.E 4 did a great job of adding quick time events while balancing the suspense of the game. In R.E 6 most of the QTE seem out of place and forced. In the latter part of the game the atmosphere changes from dark RE style to Japanese type of level designs that have a Call of Duty feel to it. The fact that you are in Tokyo, driving a huge war vehicle, seeing survivors running in fear,really evokes a feeling of excitement , but the type that's different from a classic RE game. During these Tokyo portions of the game it tends to feel out if the R.E universe and feels like a totally different game. Some of the other campaigns do feel like a Call of Duty game but set in the 3rd Person. On the flip side the game boasts gorgeous visuals and does have some great action set pieces. There are times when the action is over the top, but that's what's great about the game. A must buy for any action fan.

Truthfully, this game appeared great from the various media, but the gameplay is a bit of a bore. This game feels like it's more geared toward fans of the series looking for a mashup, which is great, but the story didn't seem as strong. This game tweaks several things that the newer installments have been working on, which is great for play-ability. And having two players is also a bonus. This game stays true to it's dark surroundings and survival horror origins, but much of the focus is on action than earlier titles. The story, though not as strong will still be intense enough to convince you that the game is worth playing to see how your character will get out of the scenario. There are some great weapons, as usual. This series is taking some interesting turns, and honestly I miss the old gameplay; thus The Evil Within and the Last of Us have replaced my Resident Evil twist. All and all, this franchise is becoming more dark, action oriented and the characters of reached their peak of development. Each installment is doing some interesting things with the game play, like what's mentioned above. At some point all these features will improve or this series will finally end and be rebooted like Tomb Raider. Though, I have more favorable games in my collection, I would still recommend this game. Particularly to someone who loves Resident Evil or Survival Horror games.

Gave this to my little brother as a gift - he played it almost non stop for the first week. I just borrowed it back from him lol. The gameplay is better than previous ones, but the story isn't as good in my opinion.

Despite the low reviews I found that re6 was a blast to play! I really enjoyed the revamped mercenaries especially online. Campaign was exciting, the story was ok nothing fantastic but good. I just wished it would explain a bit more about the other characters who are not mentioned in the story. Never the less the game is not that hard to platinum, spent a great deal of time on it. I just loved playing this game! I've been a RE fan since the ps one days but I don't mind the change it's still a great game! People need to get over the fact that the games are not as horrifying as the past but that capcom can still make a great game!

I was a little scared that it was scratched but it looked brand new once I got it out. BTW it is good game I like history and the lots of weapons I can use on it.

The game while pre-owned, is in pristine condition. I trust Best Buy enough to purchase pre-owned items with confidence.

So a lot of people hate on this game, but not as many that overall enjoy the game. Yes it moves the series further from the survival horror feel of the originals. In all honesty I have gone back and played them and most of the time when you do die in the old school Resident Evil games it is either do to tank controls or enemies you could not see off screen. Zombies that you could not kill until after activation existed since the beginning. The action setting is actually a plus to me. Having new way to kill zombies in over the top fashion is just a bonus. Some of the B.O.W.s however require clips after clip to take down. Others you can shoot twice and just take them out. That can get a bit annoying. The overall focus is the idea of switching between well placed shots and hand to hand. Enemies also hit hard. The game overall is just awesome in my opinion. It is not my personal favorite in the series, but one I have spent a lot of time in.

Resident evil 6 is a great entry in the series. The 4 separate campaigns make for a nice change of pace compared to most short games nowadays. The series introduces new characters while keeping old ones as well. The cutscenes and dialogue are somewhat predictable but still very entertaining. The gameplay is solid except for the aiming system while taking cover. Co-op and single player keep focus on the team aspect with you always depending on your partner ,whether they be CPU or a real person you can't go it alone. When the story ends, the fun keeps going in the mercenaries where you and an partner or just you, battle zombies with a time limit. Agent hunt could've been better. Definitely worth buying especially for the price.

I love the resident evil games, and getting this was just what I needed to get my fix- since I've played all the other ones a million times!! If you're into resident evil- or simply zombies, I would highly recommend

I had wanted this title for a while, but couldn't see spending $30 on it. I was so happy to find a pre owned copy for less than $7! It works great and is every bit as fun as the $30 version would have been!

Purchased this game, expecting to play the typical Resident Evil style and realized that it was in a different ball-park. The graphics are one of the best for this type of horror games. The controls are slightly on point, except with a few of the typical minor misplaced kills or shots. The only problem about the game, would be the camera system. The camera system could have used a little bit more tweaking, but for the most paper viewing was proper.

This game is OK but rather boring and difficult to navigate.

My husband and i loved the game. We played it together, co op style and it was really awesome. I loe horror games so this was somthing we could both enjoy

As a fan of the Resident Evil franchise, I love any game having to do with this series. Great storyline, gameplay.

Okay so this game has caught a lot of slack over the years. Yes it's probably one of the worst in the series but it your a fan, you're probably gonna buy it anyway just like me. However, I think it's a fun game. If you don't compare this to previous games and just let the game stand on its own, you won't be disappointed.

Great game. Full of action. I recommend it. You can play it multiple times. So many things to unlock.
