The reason I love the Resident evil series is due to the game being very challenging. I do not like games that you can beat in one night.

This game has received a lot of mixed reviews, but give it a try like I did and you'll come to like it

this game is aweful. don't buy it unless you love being frustrated and screaming at a game. i really had high hopes. it's bad. Res Evil 4 & 5 were way better. it's better than Operation Raccoon City, but that's not saying much.

The game is not bad at all. it doesn't go past RE4 but I found it better than RE5. Within the first month i played about 70 hours and I'm near a 100 now.Don't get me wrong the game is not perfect but it doesn't deserve all the hate it gets. The game play is really fun and I manage to play all 4 campaigns 2 times. People just need to understand that Resident Evil is growing up and Capcom is going to put out products they like and what they believe the fans are going to like. What I like about the game: -Game play- Of course, I love how we can Dive,Roll,Dodge,Use Hand-to-Hand combat Oh and Walking and shooting.Overall, I found to be a fun game that I really enjoyed. Crossover- I really like how Capcom put the crossover Interaction into the story. it was really cool when My partner and I were racing with other people to catch Ada first. Story- The story was very interest and nice to see unfold (Especially when you get to Ada's) There is always something that compleatley shocks you or makes you "Ahhh that makes sense." Didn't like so Much: Camera-The Camera was a little too close to the character causing me to sometimes run into something,or the camera will change causing me die sometimes because of the unexpected camera change. Agent Hunt-Agent hunt mode was really something I was looking forward to but when I tried it out it disappointed me. Lighting-The game would get so dark at points I could not tell where I was going even with the brightness all the way up.

RE 4 had revolutionary gameplay for the RE franchise, and was an incredible single player experience. RE 5 kept the gameplay, and added co-op, which really upped the fun factor more than I would have thought, but the single player experience was worse. RE 6 changed the controls to be more in line with other franchises that it is not but is trying to be, and it suffers for it. It's just a mess, single player and co-op. Even having Mercenaries mode available at the outset of the game is nerfed because of the changed controls. If you really want to give this game a shot, wait until you can get it for super cheap.

I am a big RE fan, and have been since the first installment. I am reading a lot of negative feedback about how the game isn't a survival horror anymore and lacks puzzles. This is partially true, but I wouldn't think a game would be virtually the same for over a decade. I am happy with how RE5 was, and RE6 plays the same but its not the same story line over and over. I already played as Chris on professional difficulty and it was interesting to see where the game play over laps in regards to the storyline when I met up with Leon or Jake. There is a slight adjustment of playing from Chris to Jake because Chris is more of a get ammo and blast your way through 5 chapters.. but he is a BSAA agent thats hunting bad guys.. it only makes sense. With Jake it is more of a survival but some gunning because of his situation (won't give anything away). All in all, if you liked RE5, you will enjoy RE6.

10 outa 10 here. If you liked RE4 and 5 This is the game for you. Great story great setup. Lots of new content. Makes up for RE: Operation fail city. They out did themselves this time around.

A rush to judgment with this game is a bad idea. For the price, you get 4 campaigns of varying types of play, traditional RE for Leon, 3rd person squad shooter for Chris and Jake, and adventure/platformerer/stealth for Ada. Overall, it took,e 30 hours to play all campaigns. If you go through in natural order it's fun to see how they link up and play a portion you just did as another character. I also liked the camera, that some complained about, but I hear they're putting in a patch to customize this so no worries. Great game, highly recommend it. Enjoy.

Just got done playing Borderlands 2 and jumped into this game. The beginning initially turned me off, too many cutscenes, the gameplay was slow and easy, and the characters were just some scrubs that I didn't really care about. Then about a couple of hours into the game something changed... The enemies got harder, I learned there were more moves then just aim and shoot, and I started getting into the story and began caring what happened to the characters. What?? I think I am starting to like this game! This game starts off slow, but after the first couple of hours it is all gravy. Online Co-op Multiplayer works really well in this game too. My score, 4.0/5.0 stars

The highlight of RE games are its challenge and its superb co-op --- both of which is present in this game. While RE6 is heavy in action and gunfights, it has definitely deviated from the survival horror themes of its predecessors. That being said, I definitely had a blast with this game playing it couch co-op with my brother. If I had to play single player, I think I would've still enjoyed the game, but having a real partner to pay with definitely makes this game worth picking up.

I was really disappointed with this game. Like my title the controls were the best part. The story is weak. I just can't recommend this to anyone unless you're a huge fan of the series and you want this in your collection. If I had it to do over I never would have paid the 60 plus bucks. it's worth 10 at the most.

Oh resident evil what happened. Gone are the scary days where going around every corner left you in fear thinking something is going to pop out! In is over the top dude bro action explosion scenes and effortless gunning down monster after monster. Its really hard to be scared when everything doesnt pose a threat. With that said Leons campaign to me was worth the price of admission alone. It had the classic resident evil feel when it came to the enemy selection. Zombies! the rest of the game left me disappointed in the monster department but the main characters were interesting. Also it is fun played with a friend over the playstation network. Fun game but dont expect the Resident Evil of old
