It's an action packed game. I'm a huge RE Fan but its a true survival horror. It's more cinematic, quick time events, and shooting war.

Resident Evil 6 contains 4 different campaigns. This is a huge game. It offers variety. So if you like shooters such as Call of Duty, action set pieces like Uncharted or the classic creepy RE style, it's all here. Plus you have the return of several fan favorite characters such as Leon, Chris and Sherry. All released DLC is included. This version is also the PC port, which runs at 60fps and full 1080p so it looks better than the previous PS3/Xbox360 release.

Resident Evil 6 is the franchise's installment with more action, and now it comes to the next generation with a fairly low price, enhanced graphics that are more realistic and exclusive content that can be only seen in this generation of consoles

There's a lot of game here. I'm giving it 4 stars because I can't give 4&1/2 and it has some rough bits. Still, overall it's a great game and an incredible value for the money. Also, the original release(s) were overly dark and in this version the lighting is fixed. That alone was worth the upgrade to me.

This one came as somewhat of a surprise, as it had just come out during the last cycle of the ps3 and wasn't really accepted that well amongst the populous. However, this is a fun game upon revisiting, especially when played in tow with RE5. Recommended for those who haven't played this game yet.

As a big fan of the original series, I was disappointed in the direction the series has taken since RE5. This is still a good game, its just not the same as the original survival horror franchise deserves. Too much action and not enough scares.

well capcom learned there lesson about trying to make resident evil into a call of duty seriously if i wanted to shoot someone i be playing cod but what i want is horror survival zombie rampage they tried a little the fear factor is better here but not entirely still a good game to play

RE 6 is an amazing action game, def not the typical survivor horror we are used to, but an amazing game overal.

Great remake from the original version. Amazing graphics and amazing story. Another nice addition to the collection.

Resident Evil 6 had a lot going for it in the 1st story arc and even the 2nd wasn't halfway bad. It when you get into the 3rd and 4th that gets so monotonous and uninteresting. Without giving away too much the 1st story is Leon and a new character. The story is a bit cheesy along with most of the lines but the story moves along nicely. You run into the other 3 storyline groups which is cool until you start playing the other characters stories. The more you play the more you roll your eyes or get frustrated because they literally have you replay certain boss battles or events when the stories crossover. So they make the game longer without more substance which is a bad combo. The action is good plenty weird stuff as usual but nothing particularly special.

Granted unless your a diehard if you played and beat this last gen theres no real point to rebuy this even at $20. Granted resolution wise your basically getting it how it looked when they ported it to PC last gen so it looks good but anything wrong with it, well is still wrong...

This is a unfairly hated RE game. Give it a shot. Much better than people are saying and at $20 you cant go wrong.

I enjoy the game, a new cast joins some d favorites. Lots of horror, great to play alone in dark at night with surround sound. Story is average, gameplay mostly smooth. Definitely worth playing. Liked it more than the first person change that 7 brought.

its a very fun third person shooter game, but as a resident evil game its not scary at all.

Good game if your a fan of resident evil and would like to play it again on your ps4. Basic rerelease of the original, good price I would like more to be released . Game is still pretty good looking visually with all dlc.

It's definitely the worst Resident Evil I've played so far BUT it's still fun and I'd recommend playing couch co op to make it a little more enjoyable even though the odd split screen can take a bit to get used to.

This was a great game for the PS3. I'm glad they brought this to the PS4. Its a different style of play then the games before this but still great to play nonetheless. COOP mode is more interactive than previous games which is fun as it gives you different roles to play.

Not the best in the series but you can tell they tried they're best to please everyone. Multiple stories to play and a lot of replay value with great extras. If you want a game that will keep you busy for a while here it is. Only $20 bucks too.... That's a steal!!

RE6 got a lot of mediocre reviews but this entry is better than I was expecting. A lot of the bugs seem to have been fixed with the PS4 edition and though it's definitely far from being the best of the series, it's still a lot of fun.
