Resident Evil Villiage continues the story of Ethan Winters, post his terrifying adventure against Jack Baker and deadly family. This time around, Ethan and wife Mia are coping with dealing with life after Durvey, Louisiana. In a blink of an eye, events occur at the start of the game and Mia and Ethan’s daughter, Rose, is taken. Ethan embarks on mission to recover his daughter Rose. Some Resident Evil 4 vibes can felt when playing this game, as comparisons can be drawn to European setting and vast rural locations, the obese arms dealer, along with a large, ominous castle that looms in the background. Other than those inspirations, Resident Evil Village has traded in its flesh-eating zombies for supernatural beings like witches and werewolves. Similar to Resident Evil 7, the player is living Resident Evil Village through Ethan Winter’s eyes. The game is dark and gloomy. The characters are sadistic and well written. Do not sleep on this game. Fun factor is plain fun. Replay ability is also high. Resident Evil Village is a must buy for survival-horror fans and all players alike.

Fun game, purchased at a great price. If you are ok with horror and like puzzle/action games, I’d recommend this series. I wouldn’t recommend for kids though. This game can get pretty spooky sometimes.

Game play, story, and graphics all are top notch. This game is important to the Resident Evil universe (last half hour helps explain). It took about 10hrs to beat. I took my time. Had some good scare factor to it also.

Its a very good horror game, following RE VII formula, good gameplay, and Lady Dimitrescu is awesome, also it included the steelbook for free, so that was f... great!!

Excellent game, best of I was thinking, I never get good expectations of any video game no matter what But resident evil surprise me again the game is fire but that scary like biohazard.

What a great game. The graphics are incredible and the storyline just as good. The story picks up where Resident Evil 7 left off. If liked 7 then you will like this as well.

Great horror story father at his best and graphics really good

Probably on of my favorite games I've played so far.. the graphics were top notch.. and as for the pre-order items the steel book was a nice addition.

If you are either a fan of Survival Horror or Resident Evil games, this one will not let you down. It is more like RE4 than RE7 but that's not a bad thing. The focus seems to get a little action heavy over the horror and dread found in RE7 which harkened back to the feel of the original RE to me. But it's still pretty scary. The gameplay is tight, story is interesting and will keep you hooked till the crazy twist at the end, and the graphics are nice too.
