Capcom has been making remakes of Residents Evil and so far they have been great games like this one

I was skeptical of this game being good. Decided it was high time I gave it a shot and glad I did. They Really took it back to survival horror! I was impressed. Looking forward to the next installment.

Brining back the horror for Resident Evil. The sequel to the excellent Resident Evil 7, this one puts you in a village that infested with werewolves, witches and all sorts of paranormal entities. This is a must play.

I love the direction RE7 & RE8 have taken. While RE8 isn't as scary as RE7 it's still lots of fun. It feels more like a monster action movie than horror. The doll creeps me out and who didn't love Lady Dimitrescu.

Beautifully depicted graphics which in itself adds to the horror and intensity of being chased around by sophisticated AI enemies. Worth the exploration and time to dive deep into the story of resident evil. A must play!

Its a decent game but it starts feeling very repetitive. Find a key, search for key, find door it opens then repeat hundred more times. When stuck and you dont know what to do there are no hints. I try my best to finish these games at all cost with no outside help. Some scary parts of the game. Graphics are good. I wish it also came in VR mode, but it doesnt. Fun , frustrating game to play.

I loved this game and it’s probably my favorite 2021 title. Each section is uniquely styled and often times has varied gameplay. Some parts focus more on fighting and some parts are more about puzzles but they are all fun to play!

Runs great on my PS4, very polished, no hiccups. The gothic setting not only works wonders on the atmosphere, but it makes for exquisite visuals. Gameplay is slightly more action oriented, but there's still enough downtime and creepy isolation to fit in with the way Resident Evil works best. My only knock is that I still personally prefer their 3rd person games to the first person ones.

Just buy it! Great game and also a great game to add if you collect PS4 games , RE has come along way from the cheesiness of re5 and 6 and as long as best buy includes steel books I will always shop at best buy for my games

The game is great so far, and amazingly, it runs amazing on my 7-8 year old PS4(which is already starting to die out). The story is good, the gameplay is great, only downside is no VR mode.

Excellent controllers, great story, great cast of characters, dreary setting. Everything you come to expect in a RE game. Wish I had this on a PS5, but the PS4 version didn't disappoint. Love it.

In my opinion RE8 was a much better game than RE7 even though not as scary but the semi open world map and backtracking gameplay had me replaying this game for weeks

An easy 8.5 out of 10. This game delivers on both the spooks and the action. It is more of a thriller experience rather than horror. The dialog is a bit corny at times, but it adds to the overall experience of the game in a good way. The story is really fun to follow and there's enough easter eggs and lore through out the game that both old school RE fans and new will love!

I am about 1/4 in and really enjoying it so far. More action than Resident Evil 7 but not in a Resident Evil 5 or 6 way. The amount of exploring and actions is just about right.

The best RE game since RE4 and top 3 all around. Outstanding graphics, haunting musical score, and a great story really make this one shine. Get it. You won't be disappointed!

When i heard people comparing this to resident evil 4 i really got hyped for it. I loved the way resident evil 7 looked but really dont like scary games. Having tons of fun with this one though.

Plenty of scares. Lots of action. Replay value. I liked the character designs. A few annoying points here and there. I kept dying because a prompt would not appear until I was exactly where I needed to be. Nothing major. Overall recommended. Someone please give The Duke a pedicure.

A must buy for survival horror fans. A way different experience compares to other RE titles. Will not be disappointed!

Fun game. It's just a little short, but there is replay value.
