DOA. Wouldn't turn on, then after installing, removing and reinstalling the batteries, which i checked to be sure they were good, even though they were fresh out of a new package, I got the thing to power on. I turned it off, and it wouldn't turn on again. And yes i held the power button down at least 3 seconds. I returned it for a refund. I had high hopes given the majority of the reviews were good, but it failed right or off the package.

Pros: Seems to be good quality. Very solid feel. With batteries it's just the right amount of weight, in my opinion. Infrared night vision seems to work well. Cons: No internal storage, so you have to use a card to record/save anything - not a huge deal. Controls are slightly confusing at first because there are only three buttons on top and three on the sides. So for example, one button doubles as IR on and Zoom +, the button next to it doubles as IR off and Zoom -. Simply pressing and releasing one of them will do IR on/off, but if you want to adjust zoom you have to hold it until the zoom starts changing. This scheme makes sense when these particular functions are combined, but it might throw you off a little. I think having two more buttons to separate out IR on/off and have the zoom function respond immediately would be good. It's pretty small, though, so maybe it was just too difficult to add two more buttons. On that note, because of its size the hand strap is very small. I have big hands, so I can only get three fingers through the loop. It works fine, but having one finger out of the loop is a little awkward - if you have small hands you might not think it's overly small. No charging, because it uses regular old school batteries, so you'll have to keep buying more batteries. In my case I need excuses to keep batteries around and occasionally buy more because some other stuff I have needs them, so it's fine for me, but I can see this being an issue for most people.

It works good for me watching birds in the sunlight

Fair price ,the night vision is very good but gave 4 stars for the reason that u cant put ur eye on where the screen is. You have to see it from about 6 inches away or more from ur face and looking at it in pich dark and the screen is too bright that you will be blinded by it. But the clarity is better that some more expensive ones that i have tried.

This is in perfect size to be held in one hand , and I am happy with the lightweight. It has clear pictures, and It works sufficiently well in the dark .It wasn't as intuitive to use this product as I would have thought, but it does work well! I did have to read the manual just to turn the thing on. So I do recommend to read the manual , It will save you time to play around with the thing.

I am impressed with this viewer. After I got it and saw it I had my doubts but after using it and learning about it I am really glad I bought this new toy. Now I can see what is outside in the yard in the dark.

Seriously cool night vision camera where you can really see week in the dark. For the price I definitely recommend.

This is a nice little night vision camera. It would definitely help hunters in very low light conditions. The zoom while on night vision works extremely well. The only drawback I see is that the infrared light is really noticeable while on, so I wouldn't recommend this camera if you where spying on someone. I use it to watch night time animals as I enjoy a beer and cigar at night. Something to pass the time. This camera is well worth the price.

Monocular has a clear image and is easy to use. IR seems to be powerful enough. This is a good value for your money.

I got this on sale just recently and glad I did! Well worth the money. I'm amazed how well camera works in low light. The night vision works so well in no light and clarity is top notch for the money. Even not on sale camera is well worth it, but on sale BUY IT! Would have bought a second one if I knew how well and easy to use. Rexing, thanks for this and can't wait to explore the woods in total darkness!

Took a chance on this item after looking at several options. Happy with the size and weight (very lightweight including batteries installed). Resolution ok and surprising night vision works well with built-in 3 watt IR illuminator. Will be using two sets of 5 piece rechargeable AA batteries to switch out.

Excellent quality camera! Working super good at night. We use this while camping during night. Pictures are super clear even I had some shakes or running. Recommend this to everyone want to record a fun time. It’s a good help and nice choice!

This product was actually ok not anything wronf with it and you get your value and expected worth i enjoy it

I didn't like it, first because it wasn't rechargeable and second is the quality

High quality night vision. Lightweight, easy to carry around. I wouldn’t see it’s the best night camera, but it’s definitely worth to have.

This unit is compact and lightweight, an easy item to carry on night hikes or camping trips. This unit it has a small led screen to view through, so it does not need to be held to one’s eye.

Gets the job done for the price. It is a longer range monocular so it's not good for close up shots but great for longer distances
