This is a good movie, especially the first 1/2 of the movie and Riddick is back and just as good as ever. However, this movie is more Pitch Black 2 instead of a Chronicles of Riddick 2. Even though treads familiar territory, its still a great movie.

I was so happy that they decided to do another Riddick film. The Chronicles of Riddick is one of my favorite movies of all time! This film combined story line from both the first film Pitch Black and the second movie Chronicles. I wish it would have had more of the Necromancers in it but look forward to the next film where hopefully Riddick will get his revenge on them!

this was a reuturn to the classic Riddick we saw in "Pitch Black" Riddick against the world Riddick against monsters Riddick against bad guys All and all not bad. enjoyable 2 hours with good action and pretty good cast - best cast member "the dog"

I am biased because I am a vin fan and he has never made a bad film(babylon ad.) I liked chronicles but I see why some did not like its bloated plot. This movie is more like pitch black so fans of it will enjoy this entry. Plus vin got back into shape to make up for his muffin top in fast 5. This is a demo worthy bluray for cinephiles like myself. I recommend it fully!

Riddick was fun to sit and watch, but the story line ties to the older movies seemed very loose and poorly stitched together. I would of liked to see a little more history leading up to where the movie starts than the couple minutes of flashback.

The Directors cut is a must have for any Riddick fan, it has 15 minutes of Necromonger scenes that explain so much that the theatrical release didn't. In fact had this been the theatrical release the movie would have done much better. It also explains about Vako and that was badly needed.

Starting with Pitch Black and working its way through the Chronicles of Riddick and then Riddick itself, the movies keep getting better. Not many movies have a good sequels let alone two sequels that are as good as the original with a story line that is continuous. It is one movie that did not stray with his characters and get lost in the hype of making money.

I love the whole series, personally. Naturally, I was excited to see another one coming out with Vin Diesel still playing the part. A lot of friends were talking bad about the movie, but after watching it, it's not really like the first one. It has a similar tone and feel, but it is it's own movie that goes deeper into Riddick's humanity. Good addition

I have been a fan of the Vin D for sometime and really enjoy watching him in the role of Riddick. As I sci-fi guy this was ok movie to enjoy on a day like today since it was pouring rain outside. Not a bad movie with some good action.

I have seen the movie three times and each time I come up with something I missed. I can't wait until the next release and hope that the story will give a little more detail as to how Riddick allowed himself to be overtaken.

I went into this movie expecting it to be at the same level as the others but it pushed the R ratings to MA almost a bit of Adults only! So much gore..so much strong language. But I am a huge Vin fan so I stuck through it.

I like the riddick movies. The second one I feel was the weakest. This one I liked better than the first mainly for the effects. You get to see more of the creatures which I felt the first one kept from the movie goers.

this is one of the best movies I've seen in awhile plenty of action to keep you on the edge of your seat all the way from the start to the finish if you like Vin Diesel you will definitely like this installment in the Riddick series. I was very glad that they continued on with the series even though it didn't look like they would.

This was the third and best Riddick so far. It was action packed from the beginning to end. Vin Diesel is Riddick, amazing as he fights off the newest predators in this film. The plot follows the prior movies and has many extras that will keep you on the edge of your set. I am looking forward to the next installment of the saga.

...to watching this movie. How many actors do you k.ow that want to make movies their fans want to see? Diesel obviously loves the character and franchise enough to return with the same director, if you liked Pitch Black and its sequel, you will like this one as well as Riddick goes back to basics and gets his edge back.

If you got a couple of hours and want to watch an action movie that you know won't win an Oscar, then this is a good selection. All the Riddick movies deliver a good couple hours of escape from the real world.

If you have the first 3 Riddick movies including the animated last one dark fury then you will appreciate this movie. I watched all of then back to back. Vin Diesel has taken the Riddick character to new heights.

I wasn't the biggest fan of "Pitch Black," but loved the "Chronicles of Riddick." I was hoping this movie would continue in that vane, but sadly it did not. Instead, it reverted back to an almost identical storyline to the first movie. It felt contrived and was poorly executed. Some of the action was OK. It just left me wanting more and feeling like the director and writers took shortcuts on creating a new story. Will I see the next movie in the series? Yes. However, I will undoubtedly wait for it to be available as an "On Demand" rental before spending any amount of money to purchase the Blu-Ray.

Good movie, I liked it and if I were flipping channels and came across this movie I'd consider leaving it on. Good movie to rent if you're into Sci-Fi and like the Riddick series (which I do).

This a good addition to the Riddick arc. Some of the plot is thin at the beginning, but picks up well as the movie progresses. The end seems to reach a bit, but ends on a high note and possible future story.
