If you could cross ICO with MYST, this would be the game it created. Great soothing soundtrack accompanied with cinematic game play makes for a fun and relaxing game. The game comes with no instructions. There are hints at which buttons to press that cause certain actions in the game and should be easy to pick up and play for anyone. My first play through took at least 8 hours to play, but I started again to gain achievements. The game initially feels pretty open world; however, you are pretty much guided on an overall path, meaning additional play through will be pretty quick. I like playing on the Switch; however the game is $10 that other systems. After playing on the Switch (which at times stutters), I also purchased Rime for my PC which has better graphics. :)

RiME is a platformer with a great looking cel-shaded art style. The gameplay consists of trying to traverse an island to a tower by solving puzzles. The puzzles are smart and the game feels great to play. Recommended.

This is a fun game that is a good addition to the Nintendo Switch Line-Up.

I had been wanting this game and I am so glad I finally bought it. Great game play, unique and fun. I actually ended up buying one as a secret Santa gift this year for my sister's boyfriend. Definitely recommended by me xD

I waited until they dropped the huge patch. Was worth it. Game doesn’t run 100000% smooth but it is still beautiful, atmospheric, and original.

If you have the option to buy this on PC or anywhere else do so. I waited forever to get the switch version only be severely disappointed with how bad the port is. The game is fantastic. But it's absolutely riddled with frame rate issues, even and especially during cut scenes or emotional moments. If a game like Breath of the Wild can run as well as it does on the Switch there's really no excuse for this. Don't even think about trying to play this game in hand held mode as the difference in graphics is huge.

RiME is a fantastic game on every platform except the Switch. I truly hope that the continue to work on fixing the FPS of this game.

I love to get right into the middle of the issue and this game great for that! I love to run around and find new and fun puzzles to start and complete. There also is a little fox buddy who like your spirit helper. Love this game but I have to play on big screen otherwise I get motion sickness on the switch. You will enjoy this game.

Game is fun to play but the graphics in the non-docked mode are not great. It does however look really nice when docked.

This game is like a second rate Zelda but perfectly decent. If it's marked down, it'll work in your Switch library

The graphics are beautiful, the music is great. I like games that allow me to wander around and discover things without "battles". Just run around, solve puzzles, and outrun the creepy pterodactyl. I'm looking forward to replaying this game again. Anyone know of any others like this? Looking for recommendations!

We have just started playing the game as it was a Christmas present. We are enjoying figuring out all of the puzzles. We think many would enjoy this game.

I bought this because I’ve heard great things about this game but after an hour of playing it, I’m already regretting buying it for the switch. The game just slows down and the frame rate drops badly docked and when I tried playing it portable, it was almost unplayable. I wish I would’ve tried it before I bought it. The visuals and music are great in this game and overall the controls don’t give me much trouble but the game just lags so badly sometimes that it already caused me to miss a jump twice and I’ve only played it for an hour. Sadly it looks like I’ll be trading this one in and either picking it up for PS4 or just skipping over this game and getting something else. If they fix the frame rate it seems like a game that’d be pretty good but until then, I would either buy it for a different console or just get a different game.

This game is a great game. Its similar to zelda where you have to figure out puzzles. Its pretty cool

I bought this game for my son; however I can’t put it down. And I am not a gamer. Now I’m greeted with, “Mom buy your own Switch, mom it’s my turn, mom I’m hungry”, yeah yeah kid, lol. The graphics and the story are frightening and beautiful. You will get lost playing this game.

Awesome game, short playtime, but for someone with a busy schedule it is a good length. Game had technical issues with frame rate every once in a while but didn't take away from the game, this is the reason for only 4 stars. If you like puzzle/adventure games this will be a fun game for you.
