Got to think about a lot and find objects to help your journey is like a puzzle game

This game is fantastic. I love the tranquil nature and art style of the game. It's a relaxing puzzle game that leaves you smiling. Wanted to pick it up for switch but heard about the issues.

With inspiration drawing from games such as Ico and Journey, this game throws the player into a world without much direction save whatever the player wants to do, or where they want to go. It is very reminiscent of the days where games were open ended and were not loaded with quest markers and tutorials. Rime allows the player to naturally explore and learn about the world. There are a few issues that are minor annoyances in the bigger picture, but still notable nonetheless, such as an inconsistent frame rate, and the occasional unresponsive or unintuitive control, such as when jumping and trying to catch a ledge. There are many strong points, such as its minimalistic beautiful visuals and soothing soundtrack, though.

This is beautifully styled and ingeniously constructed 3-D puzzler with heart and thoughtfulness. If you like solving puzzles and exploring fantasy worlds, you will love this.

Basically this is a clone miz between Ico and Zelda. From what I heard the graphics are actually better on the PS4 than the Switch.

Reminds me quite a bit of Ico: you find yourself in a strange, unpopulated land and you're not given a whole lot of guidance re: what to do. A few relatively simple puzzles here and there and a lot of figuring out how to get from Point A to Point B... but I'm being reductive here, the joy of this game is in the total experience. Nice graphics, nice music and an interesting mood make it a worthwhile journey.

The game has great visuals and puzzles that get you thinking but sometimes frustrating. Overall its fun to play.

If you like games like Journey and Abzu, you'll love this. Perfect game for a lazy Saturday afternoon. It's actually more of an experience than a game, no combat in it, just a walking sim and figuring out puzzles. Very well done game. Even emotional at times. Music and graphics are fantastic. Highly recommend.

You could say that this game was inspired by similar looking games like ICO, but the game really does go someplace new. You are always moving through the world solving puzzles and the game never gets boring. The lore of the game is very good and you will be taken into its world.

I read the switch port not as good a version, so if you have a ps4 or Xone roll with either one of those versions!

While this game has next to no dialogue, it is the same for the directionality of the story. there's no tutorial or waypoints, but there are plenty of puzzles, some that takes many trials and errors to figure out. overall, it offers a decent storyline that takes it all the way to the ending.

This was a very challenging game for my 9 year old grandson and he really enjoys playing it.

I have been enjoying playing this game taking turns with my wife (a non gamer) and we both enjoy it. The art style is beautiful and the puzzles are challenging but not impossible. It's Zelda without the combat.

Even though the game is short (around 5-6 hours), it's a great story, has great graphics, and gameplay. There are no enemies to fight, so think of this game as Journey in a sense.

I love this game. I just upgraded my whole home theater system and I wanted a game that I could really appreciate the graphics and soundtrack and Rime is the perfect game for this. It's beautiful and the game play is slow but very fulfilling. If you want a fast paced, action filled game then look elsewhere but if you want a beautiful game with a deeper meaning then this is it!

All I can say is...woah! This game was probably one of the best but also one of the most heart wrenching. I've gotten emotionally involved in quite a few games but I have never bawled my eyes out the way I did for this game. The game mechanics are incredibly simple to learn even though there is no real tutorial. The lack of such adds to the feeling of being lost that you experience as you search the open world for clues to drive the story on. Their are so many levels of symbolism, deep allegory, and the parallels that slowly reveal what has happened, where you are going and how to move on. Overall the game is very short but, by the end, you have gone on such a massive emotional and thought provoking rollercoaster ride you'll feel like you have worked your way through a much larger game. It's short but, powerful and satisfying.

Great game...smooth gameplay...relaxing music...low price at best buy.
