Its worth having when you don't want to wire in a system and the battery charges nice and lasts a long time. you can buy a spar battery to be ready when it needs changing, that will take a long time. you change the battery from the inside of the house and that is a plus for bad weather. quality is great.

I was skeptical because I had heard that the notifications for movement were constant, but they were not. Thankfully! It does a great job of notifying me of someone at the door and the chimes for the doorbell and movement are customizable. The app can be a little overwhelming because there are a lot of settings, but the set up is easy with your Wifi.

This unit is perfect for my apartment. I get a great view of the hallway on each side of my door and the unit itself, I feel, is a great deterrent for anyone thinking about messing with your space. Battery lasts for over a month also. Great product.

I unfortunately have not been able to use this product as when i removed the OLD peep hole assembly the hole in the door was to massive for the ring to stay in it so I am probably going to have to return it if i can not find a temp filler for it but the other ring products i bought for another house works well

I love this peephole ring cam. But I have a problem with the sensor. Setting it to low, it will not pick up anything for a full 30 seconds. Most times my packages will be dropped off at the front door, and the ring cam doesn’t catch the delivery person

Super simple to setup. Took very little time. Instructions were great. I did have to change my storm door to screen on the top for more accurate views and motion alerts.

I like the product but it wasn't obvious to me I needed a pre existing peephole to make it work. I was late returning it due to covid restraints and now Im stuck with it. =/

We purchased for use on our front door and it worked great, but wife didn’t like the big box on the inside of the door. We returned it and went with the regular ring type doorbell.

I’ve used this doorbell and the chime at my apartment. It works great. Just make sure you set the motion sensor appropriately and you’re good to go.

This is the first I have used this the installation was easy, the view is clear and I feel better knowing when my elder mother is home alone.

The peephole device is so useful. I never thought I would need it until a friend convinced me to get one and now I’m a happy customer.
