Battery for remote cam

Ordered curbside and had the client fixed same day. I will say, Best Buy does a great job of stocking a lot of what I use regularly as well as having great pricing.

I was tired of recharging the same one. Now when I take out the discharged battery I can put in a fully rechargeable battery at the same time. I should have done this years ago.

We are happy to share with you some troubleshooting steps that you can take to ensure that you have your device set up for optimal battery-life performance. The more events captured by your Ring devices, the more your battery is used. Using "Live View" can also drain your battery faster. If your device is capturing an excessive number of events each day, you may need to recharge your battery sooner.
To prevent excessive activity, under "Motion Settings" for your device in the Ring app, you can:
Adjust your "Motion Sensitivity" slider to a lower sensitivity.
Redraw your "Customizable Motion Zones."
Change "Motion Frequency" to regularly or periodically.
You could also adjust the direction of your Ring device so it doesn't detect as much motion.
You can go to "Power Settings" in the Ring app to see what features may be draining your battery.
To access "Power Settings," open the Ring app:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left of the dashboard.
Tap "Devices."
Tap the individual device (video doorbell or security camera) you want to check.
Tap "Power Settings" to check your "Battery Level" percentage and "Feature Power Usage."
Tap a feature to adjust "Snapshot Capture," "Motion Frequency," and "Video Recording Length.".

Ring Doorbell Battery a must have!

Now I don't need to wait until my only battery is done charging. I should have bought this a long time ago.

It's always good to have backup. Especially when traveling. It also comes with its own wire to charge.

And the battery life has dropped 27% in 3 weeks. It's nice to not have to hardwire the camera, but next time I'll get a wired camera.

Great camera battery

How sensitive the settings for motion will also affect the battery life, Overall they are very easy to remove, change, and charge. Charging takes some time from a fully depleted battery but he charge indicator is very helpful to know when it is fully charged.
