I bought these as a backup and it definitely helps being able to let my other battery die then quickly swap them out to charge the next one. Definitely would recommend doing this if you don’t already!

Swapping batteries is quick, and it’s a good solution if you have multiple Ring devices or don’t want to wait on charging. I like the convenience and the predictable performance. The only downside is you’ll probably want at least two so you always have one charged.

The prolonged life of a single charge is one for the books! So now when I need to swap out the long life lived battery for a fresh charged one, couldn't be easier!

I wasn't sure about the battery operated Ring staying charged for long but using this battery has shown me it's easy to put in and definitely holds a long charge. When you want to recharge you simply pull it out as it's a quick release, charge it up and replace. I ordered the extra battery so that when the one that came with my Ring camera goes down too low I simply replace it with this one. It's a win-win and I definitely recommend the purchase.

Has a long charge lasts for several weeks before needing charging again. Easy to remove with the touch of a finger and charges very fast in just a few minutes. Highly recommend if you don’t want to hardwire your Ring doorbell camera. We opted to not hardwire as plaster walls in the house were a concern for cracking from drilling for wiring.

When you need to recharge the battery it is easy to remove from the doorbell. It does take several hours to recharge the battery but overall it is a excellent product!

Having longevity in a battery-powered security device is crucial when it comes to monitoring your home, especially if you are away for long periods of time. We are here to provide you with some education to resolve the battery life issue you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. As cold weather sets in, lithium-ion batteries like those used in Ring Doorbells and Security Cameras may experience several issues, including trouble holding a charge, running out of power faster than normal, or losing functionality. Knowing at what temperature batteries will start to be impacted can help you take the necessary steps to keep your device working. When the temperature drops to:
36°F (3°C): The battery may not hold a charge as effectively, resulting in having to charge the unit more frequently.
32°F (0°C): The battery may not charge at all. Even hardwired configurations may not charge the battery.
-5°F (-20.5°C): The battery may stop working completely until temperatures warm up.
When it gets cold and your device's battery runs out, bring your entire device inside and charge the battery with a USB cord. This will allow your device to warm up while the battery charges.
