This is a very good movie, good picture and good sound.

Great action sequences and scenes are beautifully captured

Another martial art masterpiece put to film. Amazing movie

First off, I want to re-affirm that the" Well Go" brand continues to furnish an excellent product. They are one of my favorite studios in both genre and presentation. That said, RISE OF THE LEGEND is another winner. A beautiful job on cinematography is connected to a lucid and engaging storyline. The action is very good with some obvious CGI and wire-fu. The main star is not a top notch martial artist but still does a good job. Sammo Hung is still a major force after more than 30 years in the biz.

Set in the early 1900s or so, this is a pretty good martial arts film. Loosely based on areal person of Chinese folklore, but very loosely. Sammo Hung plays a bad guy, and does it well. Hung is the real deal by the way. Eddie Peng, a name I see more and more, puts in a great performance, despite the fact he is not a legit martial artists, he sure does a good job of acting like one. Many good fight scenes and a minimum of drama make this one recommended.

Cool movie, nice story plot. Keep us interested from beginning to end. Watched with my hubby and son, they both gave it two thumbs up. I usually hate watching these kinds of movies because they usually fight for no reason and have no plot, but this is not the case for this movie. For those who like these types of movies will enjoy this one, we did.

ALTHOUGH THIS IS AN AWESOME MOVIE, THERE IS MUCH TO BE EXPECTED; IT NEEDS MORE MARTIAL ARTS ACTION & LESS TALKING; IT HAS A STORY, BUT IT STILL CAN BE POLISHED FURTHER;CINEMATOGRAPHY /PROPS THOUGH IS EXCELLENT;WHEN ONE SEES A LOT OF BEAUTIFUL MARTIAL ARTS MOVIES, ONE DEVELOPS THIS KEEN SENSE OF TASTE; WHAT CAN I SAY?

I found a great buy in a Blu-ray DVD. Searching in the bargain rack, I found a great kung fu movie. It's looks very modern because it's Blu-ray but same old story of deceit and revenge. It's an action packed movie and well made. It really brings back memories from the kung-fu movies of old.

Great action sequences, new style of filming action though (slo mo, different angles shown), it's a prequel about the legendary Wong Fei Hung, previous movies were about him as an adult (this is him when he was younger). It's a good movie, I enjoyed it!!!

THERE'S STILL ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT FOR THIS FILM; BUT SUFFICE IT TO SAY, THE CINEMATOGRAPHY/ DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IS AWESOME(LET'S GIVE CREDIT FOR THAT); FOR MOST OF THE STORY LINE IS NOT THAT BAD; THIS IS JUST MY OPINION: I WISH THERE WERE MORE KUNG-FU STUFF/AND WITH SWORDS ALIKE: THAT WOULD BE TRULY EXCELLENT

This movie is outstanding! It reminds me of "Kung Fu Theatre" featured movies on a Saturday afternoon when I was a teenager. In fact, it is on the same lines as "Iron Monkey." This movie is well done and I consider it an instant classic. I am pleased to have it in my collection.

Oh my goodness this is an awesome Karate Movie for all those that love this type of stuff. Definitely one to add to your collection and pull out every other week. The fight schemes was great and fast action. So happy I purchased this because it is the best.

This film is a refreshing edition to any kung fu fan's collection. With timeless actors like Samo Hung and new faces to remember do not pass this movie up!

Have always been a big martial arts movie fan and absolutely love the new young stars taking over for the stars who carried the torch thru the 80's and 90's like sammo.

The movie was very detailed and gave the viewer a sense of relation from the dramatics. It clearly illustrated the struggles and triumphs of each character.

This movie reminds me of "The Shaw Brothers" movies from the early 1980s. I really enjoyed the drama and suspense in this martial arts masterpiece. I can never get enough of this action packed drama.

Excellent Fung Fu movie! Great action, Good story, and good acting. Not as good as IP3, but it could get there if they continue on with it. Still a must have for all Kung Fu junkies!

Good movie overall. Lot of action. Great sound home theater wise. Great picture too, It's over 2 hours long but the action doesn't stop. I highly recommend it.
