I had low expectations going into this movie but was pleasantly surprised. CGI seas believable and really draws you into the character of Caeser. Love this movie.

This is a great reboot of the original series from the sixties. I thought the story was really good and the special effects are excellent, especially in 4K

The remake of the original did an amazing job with the cinematography and capturing plot. If you enjoyed the originals, you won't regret it!

This was a good movie for teenagers and older kids but I think it might be a little scary and confusing for young kids. Great movie night ebtertainment

Loved all the planet of the ape movies old and new. The new ones including this one have been a refreshing upgrade to the franchise.

This is the first Planet of the Apes movie that I have seen that actually seems plausible. It leaves very few loose ends and is entertaining.

I think it's great that the movies were remade, and are now a little more interesting to the younger crowd. The originals were pretty good when they came out, and it's a great story to tell.

I watched this movie because of James Franco. It’s pretty weird to see him playing a series role for once but this is a good movie.

Great movie...already owned it on Blu-ray and wanted to have 4K and digital copy. Definitely recommend if you haven't seen it.

I was a little disappointed with the cgi transfer on the 4k but it was made in 2011 cgi still wasn’t quite perfected but still overall a good pickup because of the story.

Compared to the other films about this one had the most thrills and tension throughout, plus the short runtime helps.

Have always been a fan of the Ape movies. I don't always like the remakes or reimagining of great films, but at least so far they're doing a good job with the modernization.

Animals are intelligent capable to reason like humans , this movie is all about that , the action the drama is intense

He tests his experiments on apes, and thinks that he has finally found what he is looking for. When one dies during the test he is left to take care of her baby. When he takes the little ape home he begins to notice things that aren't normal. This is another movie that exploded in the theaters and I waited to see it till just the other day. What I have noticed lately is that the longer you wait to see a movie this popular it never lives up to what you expect. When everyone says how good the movie is and it's the best movie they have seen your expectations are too high and it always disappoints. This is the exception. This is truely a great movie that is an absolute must see. I did not like the Marky-Mark "Planet Of The Apes" but this one is nothing like that one. This one actually has a story that keeps you interested and you are hooked in from the beginning. The most amazing part of this movie is that there are large chunks of the movie where there is no dialog at all and until someone says something you don't really notice. This movie sucks you in and keeps hold of you until the ending. A must see. Overall, one of the few movies that can actually live up to the hype it has gotten. I easily give it an A. *Also try - Planet Of The Apes

I had seen this a few years back. Watched it again, on Blu-ray, before viewing the 2 follow-ups. Done really well.
