This movie doesn't follow the typical Robin Hood story line. The person who becomes Robin Hood isn't Robin of Locksley that other Robin Hood stories claim but someone who takes his identity (first identity theft ever?). But, the story is still really good, the action scenes are great, overall a very good movie.

This is a great movie to watch and own. It pretty much tells you the story of Robin Hood before he became Robin Hood and how he became Robin Hood. It's hard to explain without giving away the movie, so if you haven't seen it yet, you should watch it for yourself. I'm pretty sure there will be a sequel to this movie.

This is the story of Robin Longstride and how he comes to be Robin Hood. Well crafted plot that tells the tale of Robin before he becomes the legend. I really enjoyed the story and Ridley Scott as director made this an untypical Robin Hood movie. Great addition to my DVD collection.

Robin Hood is one of my favorite stories, so I am a bit biased, but this ranks up there as one of the better tellings. It is not the best I have seen, but nostalgia for a couple others probably gets in the way.

If you are looking for the Kevin Costner version of Robin Hood with a happy wedding and Sean Connery this is not it. If you are looking for an exciting action packed version of the myth with a different take this is it. Well acted with a good story.

The trailer made this movie look awesome, and I am a big fan of Russell Crowe. But I watched it late at night when I was already half asleep. It seemed like such a long movie. However, it was a great treatment of the story and full of detail. It's a keeper in my library.

Thankfully they didnt go off the deep end with stupid "theatrical" swords that look cool but have never been seen in history other than the movie (300). Glad they portrayed everyone in mostly period clothing and weaponry/armor. Russell Crowe shows that he does go "fightin round the world"

I cannot say enough about this hugely underrated flick. Crowe and Scott team Up again (Gladiator) and they do not disappoint. CROW IS TOP-notch, and you can tell that Ridley Scott had passion for this project because from the opening sequence the audience is hooked.

Great 4K picture and believable story line. Great entertainment movie Covid days ! The movie is action packed and makes you try the sword out !

Russell Crowe as Robin Hood---do I really need to say more? Okay, I will. This version is a little different take than what most of us are used to, but you won't be disappointed.

I was having a wrong idea about Robin Hook but with this movie I have a different concept about his life. It is almost the tale a the Mio Cid. The movie is excellent with great cast and the sightseeing are well elaborated. Must see movie if you missed.

If you are looking for a real gritty "leave your Kevin Costner at the door" Robin hood... This is it. I really liked this movie although i felt it should have had a little more to it, the movie was very entertaining.

This isn't your momma's Robin Hood this prequel takes it back and shows you how it all started. The characters you know and love from every interpretation are there just slightly different and it makes for a good watch.

This Robin Hood movie has a new take on the character in terms of who he is, where he comes from and how he becomes Robin Hood. Overall, a very good movie that ends where most Robin Hood movies begin.

Another take on the story of Robin Hood. A different approach of Robin Hood that clearly undefines what we use to know of the tale of taken from the rich and giving to the poor.

This movie may not be the most popular Robin hood Movie as far as the legend goes but I love it!! It gives you an idea on how the legend came to be not how it ended. Plus the way life is portrayed is the most accurate historically!!

Saw this while I was checking out. The price was so low I couldn't pass it up, but wasn't sure if I already had it in my collection. Once home I realized I did and returned it without any problems.

This is the most realistic adaptation of Robin Hood to date and definitely a wonderfully shot movie. Russell Crowe and the entire cast is way beyond what this movie could have afforded if done today. A must see.

This movie is a great movie on an old story. Russell Crowe plays an excellent Robin Hood. The movie maintains a decent pace. The story is more on how robin hood came to be. It is definitely an enjoyable movie.

When I first heard they were changing the Robin Hood story we all know for this movie I was skeptical. What a pleasant surprise just how awesome the more historically accurate tale is. Awesome movie and great price.
