Paul Verhoeven's satirical classic has stood the test of time, that much is certain. However, the previous blu-ray release left much to be desired. Fortunately, someone saw fit to remedy this debacle into the remastered beauty I now hold in my hands. This release only ensures that there is no rush to humor or withstand last year's remake.

If you've been holding out for a really great transfer look no further. The first blu ray release looked worse than the dvd. This transfer maintains grain and has the proper aspect ratio. For 7.99 plus 7.50 movie cash for the new one, you can't go wrong. I really hoped they'd do a 4k remaster for Robocop 2 as well, oh well, can't win them all.

An amazing film starring Peter Weller, Kurtwood Smith, and Nancy Allen that has been too long in coming to Blu-Ray. Finally, the unrated cut, with lots of great extras. I saw this in my local Best Buy and I said "dead or alive you're coming with me!" RoboCop has never looked or sounded better. This edition is right on target like T. J. Lazer!

This is the "Robocop" Blu-ray release I've been waiting for. The video/audio presentation is remarkable, it has a superb supplemental package and it thankfully includes the 'unrated director's cut' of the film - which is the only way "Robocop" should be viewed. The film itself still rocks today. Definitely get this release if you're a fan.

I love this movie. Probably one of my favorite cop movies ever and for it to have been made in 1987 is incredible. The extras on here are amazing as well. All the extras anyone could want. Nice to see the interviews with the cast, origin of how they came up with the idea for the movie and how the suit came to life. Very well made movie.

Robocop! Hes back! And while this isnt a true 4k remaster, Arrow video has a great track record of putting out good products and this is no exception. Highly recommended!

Wonderful remaster of a classic. The newly included panel with the cast/crew is excellent. Glad to see the remaster was done with care, and not scrubbed to the point of waxiness. Replaced the disc one of my previously purchased bluray trilogy. MGM/Fox need to keep it up with the remasters of the early releases of their catalogue.

Robocop's first Bluray release was a bare bones treatment featuring a less than optimal remaster & little to no special features. This newly remastered director's cut is superior in every way. The picture & audio are way better than the old edition plus its stocked full of great special features featuring cast & crew. If you're a fan of Robocop, this is not to be passed up, especially for the low price. It also came with a coupon for a ticket to the new Robocop movie in theaters.

The remastering has picked up alot of fine detail especially when you see the RoboCop suit and the production sets. The film is still very grainy and has even more in this remastered version but that is because there is so much more picture info. The segments involving the TV broadcasts are still in low resolution images because thats how they were filmed. The sound is very lively but it is not as good as a modern soundtrack. The bass is adequate but no real lows.

This newly remastered blu-ray of Robocop improves everything that was wrong with the original blu-ray. Remastered picture looks great. A whole lot of supplemental materials to watch and a good, solid movie to boot! Not to be confused with the new reboot, this is the uncut, heavily violent film released in 1987.

A true 80s sci-fi classic, in the same spirit of the Terminator, finally gets the bluray treatment die hard fans have been waiting for! You get bonus features galore, which include interviews with the cast and crew as well as retrospective documentaries and you even get movie cash towards seeing the new reboot!

I love this movie. This is probably the best 80s sci-fi action movie This movie has it all and the Blu-ray from Arrow Video delivers all the goods in terms of extras, sound, and picture quality. I’d buy that for a dollar

This remastered Blu-ray of Robocop is even more of a step-up than the previous Blu-ray version. The picture quality is better. And as an unrated director's cut, you get more to the movie. Personally, I didn't notice anything new added, but the picture quality is that much better that I'm okay with that.

This is the remastered director's cut of one of the coolest movies of the 80's. This is the "Criterion" edition of the movie and has extra scenes of graphic violence. Great price, and lots of special features. Don't bother with the 2007 edition - this is the edition that you want in your collection.

Robocop is an 80's classic! It's over the top style is just so cool. This remaster is head and shoulders better than the previously released blu-ray. I highly recommend trading in our old blu-ray copy for this. Robocop never looked better. Forget the remake, grab the original at a phenomenal price.

I've always enjoyed watching this movie. The in movie commercials are a bit campy. But the whole concept is a pretty fascinating what if. And I'm sorry, the re-make they did still doesn't even compare to the original.

Paul Verhoeven (Total Recall, Starship Troopers) directs one of the most memorable action flicks of the 80s. Peter Weller plays as Murphy, a Detroit cop who gets gunned down by goons and OCP decides to rebuild him. What happens next is nothing but gunplay, political satire, and a huge body count.

Can't go wrong with Robocop. The movie has been restore in 4K and probably looks the best it will be. Granted there are a few moments that the picture isn't great but again only a few moments. Like the broadcast, other then that get this because it is much better then the first blu ray release.

It's Arrow Video, what more can you say. Picture is a notch above the standard blu-ray release, but being Arrow, we're stacked with bonus features. And that steelbook, with its shimmering finish, is just about perfect.

This remaster is a huge upgrade over the original blu-ray released near the start of the format. This is the same cut that was used in the Criterion Collection dvd that is now out of print. Great Director, producer, writer and cast Q&A that was filmed last year at a screening in LA.
