This is a good USB sound card

I used a USB-C hub, which has USB A ports. When I plugged it in to one of the USB A ports, I was happy to find that this product worked fine. The package only has Windows and Mac OS compatibility, so I rolled the dice buying this for an iPad. The audio quality out of this product is as good as wireless audio, which is the only other way I’ve gotten audio out of the iPad.
