over all i love this mouse. The software is easy to use. macro settings also set with no trouble. Best part is the intuitive button set up on mouse makes it one of the best I've owned.

Best FPS mouse on the market...

Best FPS mouse on the market... for me. It goes w/ out saying that there is no one size fits all mouse. Some prefer large, heavy mice, others the opposite, etc. hence the fact that so many different manufacturers not only stay in business, but are simultaneously successful. The reason I love this mouse so much boils down to 3 things. 1. Lightweight, or < 100g; For whatever reason, I play better w/ a lighter, smaller mouse. Don't know the length of my hand, but I'm 6ft tall, and what I would consider to be average size. 2. 10+ buttons; I prefer to have as many buttons mapped to the mouse as possible, w/ out falling into the MMO Mouse category. The reasoning behind this is that I prefer minimize the frequency in which I have to take my fingers off WASD. 3. "Smart Cast" Design; Having two additional buttons next to the L/R click was brilliant. It's been done on other mice, but no where near as well. Personally, the only other mouse that comes close to this one is the Logitech G300s, however it falls short comparitively. I should mention that cost was not a deciding factor in this being my favorite mouse (*Although it's a bonus). If it was $100 I would have paid it because as I mentioned I don't know that I could have been truly comfortable w/ any other mouse. I've tried MANY other mice in the past year. Logitech, Razer, SteelSeries, Nearly all of Roccat's alternatives, including their latest mouse, the Roccat AIMO. (*It's too big / heavy) It can be very difficult to find a mouse that meets your requirements. I have had no issues whatsoever w/ Swarm, and 2016 Kova (*This mouse), and I've been using both the White, and Gray mouse since early 2017. W/ that said, I HAVE had issues w/ Swarm, and other Roccat Periphials, but I digress. I use Roccat Shift (*Great feature) to add more hot keys for less, "In Action" functions such as, "Escape, Menu, Etc". Very, very helpful. As far as cons go, or things I wish it had: I'm curious how the mouse would feel w/ a 4D scroll wheel. Perhaps that would be overkill, or distracting, but none the less. It might eliminate the need for it to be amidextrious. I map Roccat shift to the right, top browser button (*I'm right handed). I use this so frequently sometimes it makes my finger slightly sore, but it's better than the alternaitve of NOT having that as an option, and potentially giving up buttons. Last, I'd buy a wireless version of this (*Talking to you Roccat) if Roccat offered it. Regardless, love this mouse, and appreciate the smart design by Roccat's engineeers.
