Actually a DVI to HDMI adapter. It does give a clear concise picture from my desktop to my HD TV. You must, however, connect a separate output for sound. I knew this up front so it wasn't a problem.

Worked perfectly to attach computer with a DVI output only to HDMI only TV. No degradation of video quality noticed. Very pleased with my purchase.

Awesome product I would recommend this product to anyone. I took an old LCD monitor from an old computer I had to make a tv area in my garage. It worked perfectly to go from hdmi to the screen.

I used this product to hook a Xbox One up to an old monitor using the monitor's DVI port and the HDMI cable from the Xbox, and the picture shows up perfectly in 720p!

Works fine (well, I think it does) but it wouldn't fit with the monitor I tried. So you might need to check that first,. But I kept this because I expect I might use it with another monitor in the future.

Was able to connect my computer that has an HDMI to an older monitor that I had that has a DVI input on it. Works great no issues

Wish I knew about this adapter a few years ago. Works great with my home office set-up and new tower. Love my flat screen display, and the HDMI cord is easier to move around.

This adapter works well as an aftermarket adapter. I used it to convert HDMI from a laptop to a Panasonic Projector for an outdoor movie. It worked great.

Item was purchased from Best Buy as a returned item so it had a little bit of a discount. Item set was quick and simple with no instructions needed. Simple plug and play.

I was having HDCP issues with several components using the HDMI connections on my television. I used the HDMI to DVI adapter and my HDCP issues were resolved.

I found this in the TV section and used it (with 12' HDMI cable) to extend a computer monitor which only had the DVI connection. It worked great!

It does what it's supposed to. With no drivers or anything converts the HDMI out on my machines to DVI for use with my older monitor that doesn't have HDMI in.

I have a sony 2003 rear projected tv the picture is excellent thanks to this product the picture is as good as the new led tvsi highly recommend this product

Overall, it's an easy-to-use device that allows you to hook up your PC to an HDTV. It is more expensive than it should be, but it does work, and works well.

This adapter worked great for hooking up my iMac to my newly purchased 65" Samsung LED TV. Great quality, no lag, picture is beautiful.

Does what it says, passes HDMI reliably from a DVI connection. Just remember sound has to go through a separate cable, with proper configuration.

This is a simple solution to adapt your DVI to HDMI or vice versa. I use this to adapt an Intel Compute Stick to a DVI monitor.
