I returned this item due to not having any audio function, just video

I bought this so I could use my TV as a computer monitor. The adapter worked perfectly fine. Streaming to my computer didn't work so well, however. I don't use the adapter any more. I bought an antenna and get several free channels on my TV. So much better!

The Adapter started to glitch and not work...not cool!

Its not perfect but it does what it needs to. Descent converter.

Does what it says but way cheaper elsewhere not worth the cost

Reasonably priced adapter with all metal construction feels solid. Gold plated contacts ensure good conductivity. The shrouds for the HDMI and DVI ends also appear to be gold plated. I wonder why it's priced higher than the equivalent DVI-to-HDMI adapter....

Would recommend too other customers with dlp television

This device is too expensive. When it is used for connecting the TV to a computer, it frequently dropped signals and requires restarting the computer to recognize the adapter.

Converter purchased for PlayStation was not used..

This provides great picture but no sound so for us was completely useless since we purchased both the computer and the adapter in order to hook up to our TV.

I had a computer built with a blu-ray player and got a large monitor that could handle High Definition. Lo and behold, no HDMI output from the computer. This solved the problem quickly and neatly. It worked perfectly.

This adapter was a no brainer choice to adapter our industrial HMI to a LED 32" wall monitor. This allowed our customer to view there information on a larger format.

The adapter meet all my expectations. More important was the assistance from the staff. In a few hours, I exchanged several different adapters and cables until I found what worked. The staff is to be commended.

Needed an adapter for an old Mac Pro, I was looking for a cable but found this adapter instead. It works, I'm getting a bit of static on the screen, but I think its the old cable/monitor I'm using, not the adapter.

Was not able to get sound with this device or through other inputs and devices with old television. No good on less you use closed caption.

Bought it to convert older input into HDMI, obviously. But I did not realize it didn't also convert audio signal. That's my own bad, but thought I'd put that out there.

I hooked this up and had so much static on the screen..... I just unplugged it and put it back in my drawer. I got it open box discounted and don't think I can return it. find something else, this isn't very good.

This adapter is excellent. It works exactly as expected, without distortion or interference, and was a real help when the DVI port failed on my graphics card. Only negative is that it is a bit pricy.
