I recently purchased the Rocketfish HDMI-to-DVI Adapter. I think it's a good value, but it's slightly overpriced.

This is a DVI to HDMI cable, its meant to connect your computer (graphic card) or gaming system to the TV using a HDMI cable, because sometimes a computer is not supported with a VGA or HDMI output, and the tv just doent have a DVI input. A DVI port ONLY SENDS OUT A DISPLAY, NOT SOUND, OR ANYTHING ELSE, just picture. so it might not work out for all of you

Just what I needed an adapter to connect my ps4 to my desktop monitor!

This is a fine converter. It is very sturdy feeling, with some excellent build quality. It works as it should. I bought this because a) I needed one, and b) I found a $30 gift card while cleaning. Had I not had such a gift card I would have honestly bought a cheap one from somewhere else. But this product is probably of far better quality than I would have gotten elsewhere. These types of converter heads are typically not in an area where durability is paramount. This to me is particularly true for something that mounts with screws to the output like this does. So if that is your situation, you might want to consider others. But if this is going to be a converter for a laptop for example, where you will be throwing this into your laptop bag and taking it around with you, then it might be worth to spend the >=100% more in this over something at another online retailer. I expect that in whatever situation I may put this piece of hardware in, it will last longer than HDMI remains the standard.

I use this to connect my computer to an old monitor (No HDMI input) with an HDMI cable. Just remember that when you convert HDMI to DVI you will lose the sound. You can find this for less online but beware of inferior quality.

Purchased this to hook a few year old Apple Macbook Pro up to new Samsung LED HDTV. Laptop had DVI out, so I used this then an HDMI cable and worked fine. (Do note: audio must be connected separately thru a mic cable)

I recently bought a Samsung P2370 23 inch monitor from best buy but the monitor only had DVI port no HDMI port. So I came upon this great adapter, because I bought one Dynex 6' DVI-to-HDMI Digital Video Cable it graphics was awful and bad quality. So already had Monster 1000 HDMI cable hook up to my Samsung TV. I decided to use the Rocketfish Adapter to connect my Monster 1000 HDMi cable between my Samsung P2370 to get maximum high quality through my monitor and works! better quality and enachance graphics for my game using my Xbox and Ps3 system. No complaints! Happy, simple and easy solution for Monitors without HDMI port.

This adapter does what it says and the price point was right on for the availability. Has been in place for months now and is still working without a hitch!

It allows me to hook up my HDMI items to my old Epson projector. Picture was crisp and clear. It doesn't carry the audio signal so you will still need to hook up audio separately. I'm quite pleased that now I don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to buy a new projector so I think the price is fair.

Bought a generic cheap adapter online from a different vendor and it didn't work. So I went to the local BB store and picked it up and plugged in the Rocketfish adapter and worked like a charm.

The adapter works perfectly. I use it to hook up my computer to an HDTV and I receive the same picture quality that I would from a HDMI cable.

plugged in my little streaming camera to my computer using this and worked just fine. no problems and let alone no issues with it. works just as expected

Twice the price as the same item online, but I needed it now. It's simple, it works. It struggles pushing 1080p, but anything less looks crystal clear.

The HDMI port on our tv quit working which we had our Blu-ray player connected to... Which meant we couldn't watch our favorite DVDs and Blu-ray disks with our boys. Their dad came across this adapter while shopping at Best Buy and he knew we had a DVI port on the tv. Needless to say our boys are extremely happy, as are we, to be able to use our Blu-ray player once again! I didn't even know this handy little adapter existed... But I can't imagine going without it now!

It is a converter and does what it is suppose to be doing. The build quality is great.
